This concept is just a scale test.

Right well its about time I cover the idea a bit more I think!

Basically I wanted my idea to be something that people could easily relate to!

So… I decided to go for the parent baby situation! My idea is sort of a metaphor for how much work and running around we have to do for such a tiny little person!

Originally i was just going to have a tiny baby in the middle of the room with destruction all around him and the mum/dad struggling to keep up, but then i went on to thinking big responsibility, big baby! It should be clear I hope that the mother is the servant and that babies as nice as they are always in demand!

So thats my idea! Any ideas you want to add or question just post away! I would be happy to hear them!

p.s This is just my idea, i’m sure there are babies out there that dont cry or anything… so I hope I’m not offending anyone! Thanks.

Well i’ve been very busy so haven’t really had a chance to do much so far! Few ideas floating around my head though which is always a good thing!

  1. Mother and baby! The mother being the servant of course! I’m thinking of having her in wild tired motion with babies bottles coming out of her ears! The baby will be centred in the middle of the room looking all innocent.

  2. The puppeteer! This idea has been playing around my head since the competition started and its developed pretty far! The original concept was to have a old man controlling a puppet on a stage. The puppet however was going to be human. It then developed into maybe a religious idea and was going to involve a god like figure controlling someone like a vicar or something! I then thought i would stay clear of that as I dont want to offend anyone! So what do I think of next? I was thinking of having the puppet master being the same person as the puppet! Reason for this is he has a split personality and is being driven by the opposing character within him!

Would be very interested to hear what you think of the ideas? Will prob start some sketches on the second idea tonight!

Hey everyone! Well I decided to go for the Mum and Baby idea. I will cover the concept more in my next post!

Anyway, here are my first sketches of the mum character! I know there are a few issues technically with limbs and body posture but this is really just to give me an idea of how she will be roughly looking! No 3. I was thinking she would be holding small baby bottles under her arms but thought the baby was so huge she only needed one massive one… see no 4.

I’m thinking i’m pretty much there with number 2 and 4 in terms of the pose I want however i’m now thinking she will be holding a huge dummy instead of the bottle! Sketch of that plus baby ones to come shortly!

Well here is the baby! This is actually the second sketch i’ve drawn for this character but prob the one i’m going with so i’m posting this first! ( plus I haven’t scanned the other one in yet hehe! )

This is the first sketch that I designed for the baby character!.. Yeah I know hes got a huge right hand hehe! When I created this sketch I realised that the baby wasn’t actually enphasising my point by just sitting there all happy and calm, so I decided to go back to the drawing board and have him screaming.

He-he, very good idea. I’ve seen this scene and the other with the destruction hundreds of times at home. And I was always wondering if there really are “babies out there that dont cry or anything…”:applause: :thumbsup:

similar to one of my ideas and also 2 other members are doing the baby as master idea; i’m just going to do mine very dark if i go on with it

Sebek27:Ah thats a bummer, but I guess you will always get a couple of people with the same idea! Would be interested to see the other two you have mentioned to see how they approached the same situation! :slight_smile:

jajajajejeje,thats too real, i show this to my mom, and she starts to laughts, that is an idea and a concept that only the mothers can to undertand.
