Alright, real excited about another challenge! I really believe these opportunities are the things that will continue to breed generations of amazing new talents and community and create awesome competition in the entertainment/visual world which will lead to quite an interesting future I’m sure.
I hope all those I watched last challenge have the time to do it again this time around. It comes at quite a busy time of the year for school for me, but I’m still going to take part as the advice from you guys is invaluable.
Alright, I’m not sure if my concept is idealy fitting or not… i don’t know if it’s being creative or not following the rules?! Anyway, my idea leans probably more towards the ‘slave’ extremity of ‘servant.’ It’s more abstract in it’s visual nature than I normally focus on, but it’s dealing with man/womens kinda fight between the apposing, polar-opposite ‘forces’ in the unseen immortal world on the subject on who to follow and how it relates/fights with your own physical being, your presence in this mortal world.
So the idea is a man strung in the air being pulled in opposing directions: up and down to represent the common views of the spiritual world, with, of course, his own body being the middle ground
The background is already a challenge for me. I was thinking of placing him slightly elevated above an actual landscape… a field on fire against a sort of cumulous ‘after the storm’ cloud in the sky
but here’s the pose after playing around with a few different ideas
