Hi Miss Enayla,
It left very well good environment and a little hot,hot on
the topic, the colors are very pleasant for the moment, I would
perhaps correct the foot before the dominating one which is a little
large, good continuation.

Hi Enayla. A great attemp to the finals. It’s a pleasure for me that you participate in this challange. Your last post is amayzing!!! I hope that you will keep the good work, ( no doubt about it ) that makes my post beter, too.
Cheers:thumbsup:
Wow D: I’m starting to have problems keeping up with my own thread, this is getting out of hand.
Awesome advice, folks. I will definitely add more contrast as I go along - this is how I work. Especially the background will appear really blurred and icky and drab until I get to it. I assure everyone, there’ll be contrast there. No pure black surfaces because I hate them, and perhaps no stark highlights, but this isn’t going to be one of my ‘faded silk’ paintings (like Calamity of Touch). It’s going to have vibrant, strong colours - I’m planning on adding more apple green as I come along. I’ll also take a second look at the girls’ anatomy.
However, I now have a second concept that I might like a little better
As soon as I know if it’s possible to do two paintings at the same time as long as I only turn in one finished version, I’ll get cracking on the second concept and leave this one to rest for a bit.
Second concept is this:
A lady of noble birth seen from behind, standing before a wall that is near empty save for a single mirror with a golden, elaborate frame. She is leaning slightly against it, one hand clutching the side of the frame, the other holding a knife that has been plunged, tip-first, into the mirror. Fine cracks spread from the point of impact. There is a good amount of blood on her other hand, as well as stains and blotches on both her dress and the wall in front of her.
The image in the mirror will show her haunted eyes and some splatters of crimson on her skin. Behind her, there will not be a reflection of the room she’s in, but rather of an ‘inner landscape’, if you will. The state of her mind cluttering around her reflection.
Story behind it being the power the mind has over us though we think, sometimes, that WE control our thoughts. (Insanity/sanity, etc).
Anyway. I hope I can do this one alongside the other.
Hi Linda, excuse me if I don’t often post something here, but I hate to be one of thousands to just praise somebodys work…
a-anyway, I’m glad you finally changed your avatar. This one is really cool! I was hoping you do one in this style
Heheh, thanks (regarding the avatar) It’s really just a slightly animated edit of one of my DSG murder sketches from the avatar wars :}
Hi Linda, I´ve read in the faq that you can change your concept at anytime but it is a must to send every milestone for the new concept. So this would mean that you can actually work on several pictures as long as you send the milestones, and then choose just one of them to submit your final entry.
I´m doing a 3d entry about madness too, although it is very different from your second concept.
I encourage you to paint both concepts as I love to see your work and your wips, hehhehe
Actually, I really like almost everything about the picture as it is, has that typical Enayla… uh… thing. lol
But one thing bugs me and that’s the anatomy - Nature’s left thigh (the one toward us) is too short and foreshortening is completely out of the question with that pose. Maybe made the lower part of the leg shorter and the thigh - longer. But that’s it
Oh and I think this concept is better than the other one
Then again, I think it’ll be more fun the see two pictures evolve… it all depends on your schedule!
Nice new concept Enayla, i like it! My own first idea was too a play on the mind (but different
concerning reason vs heart (imagination/logic) and how it affects the way we see the world.
Can’t wait to be amazed by your quickness at painting again! And i’m looking forward to see another update of your current concept. I’m not adding much more comment about it since well, in my past posts i just wrote too much stuff, so i’ll just wait this time, hehe.
great updates linda:applause:~the background colors really spice up the mood for the entire piece.i dig ur new avatar.
Your image is shaping up nicely, as expected. But I have to say, I am spellbound by your avatars! : )
Very powerful colors. I like the paradox you’re using on who’s who between both of protagonists. Good luck ! ![]()
Gahh…
I’m stunned by your drawing/painting skills. Even the concept “sketches” look like little art pieces on itself.
Your work has an very dreamy, fantasy feel to it. …amazing.
Wow! This is lookin’ good. I liked the previous pose of the characters a little better, cause it looked more ethereal, but I guess that this way things are more “physically correct”. Awesome work anyway. If this has been said already, I apologise; it’s just that I would die of old age trying to keep up with the posting rate of this thread
Hi Linda,
You have lot of fans here, and I’m not different from them…great work here!
justing waiting for your final entry
good luck! (comment my work, if you not busy,
)
Wonderful!:buttrock:
Hi Linda
I don’t like sound like a silly little fanboy, but i really had to post you a reply on your latest update. Your work is more than eyecandy, the whole way of your art that is coming up is poetry in colors and shapes, touching deep in everyones heart and lets you dream away.
I don’t have to say you are an exceptional great artist, i just want to say i really really love your art and the way you aproach it with dedication, and so much love.
Thanks for letting us be part of this process, your work is a living dream. Keep up your great works !!!
oh, as already metioned, hahaha, your new avatar rocks big time!!!
Cheers :wavey:  :wip:
GAH! Creepy new avatar by Linda… >.> <.< …I LOVE IT!
LOL! Had too…
Anyways, I really like the new concept, but am still in love with the old one as well. Both have your particular ethereal fantasy/romanticism in them, and that’s one thing that I really admire about your art. That, and just the final product of your painting, which are always mind-bogglingly beautiful and so rich. I just love how you put so much feeling and emotion into your pictures.
As for working on both pictures at once, I have confidence that you can pull it off. If you are inspired by both, paint both, plus with painting two pictures at once, you probably won’t get bored as easily, because you can be constantly working on something different. I have faith in you. You can do it!
Keep up the inspiring work, Linda!
