Master and Servant 2D Entry: Ken Henderson

Hi cgkrusty,

sorry for your project. Why don’t you try playing with legos (if you had some !) or some kind of robots on a table. Sometimes it can help finding another point of view… especially if you try different combination of lights.

Hope this kiddy thought may help.

Anyhow keep it up

Jezzarts:

Thanks Jezz!

Sorry I haven’t responded sooner… I tried your technique, all the blood rushed to my head and I passed out!

The Lawnomower man eh? No wonder I’m dropping this idea… I HATED that frickin’ movie… Still I think I’ve managed to retool it a bit. I have three concepts that I’ll post next week and get peoples opinions on. I really want to doodle up some metal contraptions… hopefully the rework of this first concept works out!

MDN67:

I didn’t understand it in the first place either… and now after seeing this opaque sketch YEESH!!

:banghead:

Hopefully the next iterations will be clearer!

Thanks for stopping by MDN67!

spacesnail:

Lego’s eh???

Tryin’ to call me a block-head for this lame attempt?

CRIPES!!!

 (joking)

Well… whatever it was something has clicked and I’m into it now. Thanks for the suggestions and for stopping by!

OK… come by next week and see the new sketches.

Thanks for visiting!

Very interesting idea and somewhat relatively realistic (the whole abuse of power part).
Good start so far. Keep it coming.

cheers,

Whatever you settle on, can you work that giant machine into it? Please? I was looking forward to your rendering on top of that, it’s a really cool design and giant machines are, well, cool.

Hey BTW, cool portfolio! Are you still in San Anselmo? I used to work there years ago- beautiful town. I wish that platformer you were doing got published, I love that kind of game.

Arc80 :

Thanks Archie!

Thanks Eric. I appreciate you rcomments on my portfolio. I’m trying to keep this M&S entry thing alive and have another take on it. Things are crazy here though so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to complete it.

As far as San Anselmo goes, still here (check back with me in 3 weeks though), hence the craziness. Yup, it would have been a cool game - silly Publishers!

Thanks for checking into my barren wind swept landscape of an entry guys!
