I think that what NOOB! meant was that it takes time to develop an idea properly. So far I like your prison mouse – he caught my eye while I was scrolling through the 2D entries. The next step is to flesh out your characters. How do the girl and the mouse communicate? Is she like a Dr. Doolittle or is the mouse like a Redwall character? What is the nature of their relationship that the mouse does what his mistress asks?

Well of course it takes time to develop an idea… I ain’t stupid you know!

Anyway, I have decided to not persue this any further,
A) I can’t draw to save my life, a mouse I can manage… but humans… apart from stick drawings I can’t produce anything that doesn’t look like a 5 year old did it (and most 5 year olds are better than me)
B) I don’t have the time, I just got a new job, and I am about to buy a house… there is too much else going on
C) … well I can’t think of a C right now, but I am sure there is one.

Thanks for your help guys, I shall drag my creative side back into my dark hole for now
