Good luck adrianna:thumbsup:

Ok, so here goes. There is nothing on paper yet as I need to get out of work before I can start to doodle, but I have an idea, any comments would be appreciated.

A girl in a dungeon/jail cell, shackeled to the wall. A little mouse type creature has stolen a key from the guard sleeping outside.

So Girl is master to slave mouse, but also the sleeping guard is master to the girl…

Does that make sense? does it sound like a good idea?

^ Hey Adr. weren’t you going to add me to your msn a while back? If you’re skilled in 2d, then I could use your advice! I’m alright at the 3d stuff! By the way, love your concept, good luck to you  !

#7

pongball… I forgot (I have a tendancy to do that!) I shall try my best to remember tonight.

I am not good at 2D stuff, but I am even less good at 3D stuff, I wanted to enter the competition so I thought I would give it a go. I know I have no chance of winning anything, especially when you look at the competition in here, but I think it will be a good excersize for me.

Oh oh oh, I just had two more ideas…

  1. Man in front of computer… fairly simple, not sure which is the slave or which is the master though!
  2. Girl stood looking into a mirror, one side looks meak and humble, the other looks dominant and masterful

I gotta stop having ideas now, I don’t know which of these three to pick… HELP!

#9

Why not try simple shapes/lines and create simple compositions to start? That way you can take a step back, look at all three, and say X to that, X to that, im liking this  .

#10

Here’s an 'ickle sketch of a mousey! What do you think?

#11

Anybody out there?

#12

patience patience, and hey i just saw u in my thread and i got no comment from u!! so don’t be a hypocrit hehehe.

its looking good,

looking foward to seeing more progression.

#13

I gotta see where this goes. Keep me entertained

#14

NOOB!: Thats true, although my internet is buggering about and it keeps sending me all over the place when I don’t want it to. I was just getting paranoid that people were avoiding me!

Beelow: Are you interested cause its good… or cause its rubbish?

I do’t mind either way I just like to know! :bounce:

#15

u did great adrianna…i might have to write a whole essay for the concept i have in mind…lol:)keep this going!

#16

I have had a better idea… instead of a dungeon, I am going to put the woman in a cage above a firey pit with a big evil guy at the bottom, and I’m gonna give the rat/mousey creature wings.

How about that?

#17

i think the woman in the cage is a bit clehce’ and i think ur idea is a bit random.

hehe don’t worry take ur time to come up with a good concept, maybe instead of making a mouse with wings, invent a new creature.

its ur call.

#18

Ok, how about the girl being at the feet of her master?

#19

its ur call,we are here to help, but right now u seem to be tossing out random ideas, take sum time to think, then post.

the girl at the feet of the master could work i’m sure.

i’ll keep an eye out for more development.

keep it up!

#20

Duh… isn’t that what its about? posting all ideas and work in progress?
Or does it all have to be set in stone 100% finished (even the concept)
If so then I think I will quit before I begin.

#21

ok,i see i have reached ur bad side.

well,do as u wish

#22

No I don’t think its rubbish at all. I just kind of find it interesting to see were your are going to go with this rat. I wish the best of luck to ya.

#23

I think that what NOOB! meant was that it takes time to develop an idea properly. So far I like your prison mouse – he caught my eye while I was scrolling through the 2D entries. The next step is to flesh out your characters. How do the girl and the mouse communicate? Is she like a Dr. Doolittle or is the mouse like a Redwall character? What is the nature of their relationship that the mouse does what his mistress asks?
