#1

Carlos Ranna has entered the Master and Servant 2D.

Challenge Page

Latest Update: Concept Sketch: Just a sketch…

This is a first sketch so you all now what i´ll be working on.

The idea is the to show the servant as a person, slaved by the TV.

I made this traditional watercolor at college, as i was thinking on a way to showcase it.

I´m thinking about the possibility of making the man with his legs turning into roots.

I´ll be expecting crits and comments from all of you, and i hope we all learn a lot from this!

Chears!

DoInferno - Nice concept. Very original take on the topic. Are you going to be able to keep working on it?

hey Crazy3dman! Long time no see!

Well, i´m ashamed… I´m not using the computer these days, my hands are hurt and i´m still stuck with only the mouse… That´s the reason they are hurt… Expect to buy the tablet in a few months…

So i´m not going to DSG, not working on the CG Chalenge and not producing my Comic Strips… At least i´m working a lot on non-CG art…

Sorry everybody, but i won´t be able to work on this image…

very stylised and interesting. However I would be more carefull with the prespective ya. For example the perspective of the carpet is not correct. Try drawing in vanishing points and grid lines. That would clear out alot of perspective issues. Other than that, having his les turning into roots is very interesing, reminds me of myself, but mine is on my ass to the couch hahah.

Ooo man, :argh: that’s too bad. Sorry about your hands. But yeah, for the dsg, a tablet is really the way to go if you can. What kind of non-CG art are you doing?

Hope you are better soon.
