welcome and good luck:thumbsup:
Master and Servant 2D Entry: Bruce Patnaude
As you can see…just the initial concept sketch. I wanted to get the layout close to what I want.
A little playful, on the dark side, eventually (I hope).
Still working on the layout and trying to get the perspective right. Kind of struggling with the pet’s feet, but maybe it will clear up after 8 hours of not looking at it. =)
The background will go in when I start the coloring process.
Any comments welcomed.
Thanks for the comment Adam. I was beginning to wonder if the piece was that bad = no comments. =)
Good luck with your entry.
You might change the colors later on, but to me this first combo of green and brown is very relaxing. nice to look at, i think the proportions are also well done so far…
let’s see this coming along…
bye
totally agree with Adamos on this one, great colors and anatomic stuff
lets see morrreeeee!!!
Well, after trying to block in my colors, I noticed some composition problems I am going to try and fix before my next update.
Not going to go any further with the painting stage until I have those the way I want them.
Thanks for all of the comments.
I like the idea of ultimate killer toy
but try to get reed of the cables man! Get some antennas in there, we’re in 2005 everything is wireless
It’s coming along nicely. I agree with Taz, it’s going to be really hard to control the guy if he can’t move more than 4 feet away from you. Also, as your rendering becomes increasingly fleshed out, it becomes more and more evident that he has no feet. You may need to do something about that at some point!
anyhiw, good luck with it!

Still playing with the colors…
Also added the missing feet. =)
I’m a little torn with the girl’s shoes…being the off white…but like I said, I’m still feeling my way with the colors.
Oh, I think I’ll stick with the wires…wireless can be so flakey sometimes.
Not much done over the weekend. Decided to give it a different background. So I am currently playing with a tree…not sure if I like it or hate the fence. Will continue messing with ideas before I start on final coloring and detail.
Thanks for looking and commenting.
