Ok…final lineart picture…I spent 9 hours today doing it and here it is…hope you like it 
It’s now more character based picture and I feel like it is more true to the instructions given. For better or for worse I’v ditched the crusade theme (sorry boys 
My second cg challenge so far \o/ The first one was a poor effort 'cause I entered it 4 weeks before the deadline 
Maybe now I have time to finnish the picture 
This is just for make my brain working. Made some early decisions about the theme and what I want to do. Helps me a lot to have something like this worked out in advance.
Well I have the basic idea worked out and that is:
Religous society where few rule and most serve. It’s somewhat related to “old” Christianity during (about) the 14th century. There are all the gimmigs to use, Inquisition etc. but I try to add some nice twist to the design and story…hopefully 
So this pic is just to have something to work from in the furure.

this is possible the main character. Maybe I try to make him a bit older…I’m not really sure if inquisitor is supposed to be this young…well maybe he ends up being the servant…dunno yet
i like this concept. maybe it would be a good idea to uncover his face and make it determined or cold or maybe something like that. and maybe a black beard…
the inquisitor looks cool…and makes me remember Jordans, wheel of time…the whitecloak inquisitors
it would be interesting to see how u script your entire concept out…looking forward to teh main concept sketch,

Are you going for some classic versus cyberpunk aproach? It seems to me he’s wearing a sort of ‘Akira’ style leather jacket, I think that’s very cool:thumbsup:

this is some exploration about how the inquisitor hould look (like the archetype of inquisitor). I’m not sure if I use something like this to the final image…I need to do more these kinda things. And by the way, I found that “twist” that I needed for the picture…maybe sometime soon I reveal it drumroll

yeah the inquisitor is bit too plain gamehero type of character. I think I keep the cardinal cause he’s more wickid (if that can be said about a “holyman” and it suits for the final theme better
and in a weird way my final images theme could be described with “Nobody expects the spanish inquisition” phraze
