Latest Update: Coloring WIP: got wood?
just some quick wooden floor painting. I think I’ll start on the walls in a bit. I’m listening to Jamiroquai and feeling really productive so lets see how far I can get this weekend.
This is a subtle approach to master and servant. The concept is creationism. The character reflected here almost has a santa point of view. This character is actually a servant. The master is off doing more important things. It says when god spoke the earth into existence… someone else did the hands on labor.
So the elf creature is on the floor in the workshop, workbench behind him. Planets laying on the floor… the servant is working on a planet. Through the door you see the universe.
I know there’s less than two weeks but any input would be very much appreciated.
This is a line Art study of the scene. With line art, I like to work sketchy. It leaves things a little bit loose. I’m working with my wacom tablet. The concept sketch I did in pencil. This sketch I did digitally. I actually prefer working on the computer any more. It’s easier to make corrections and also far faster to make corrections.

I really like your concept. Very original. Although I’m not sure if the relationship between the master and the servant will get across - or even who the master is…(don’t know what the rules are about actually portraying both the master and the servant). Anyway, perhaps you could put some more ‘clues’ in your scene to make clear it is God. Something with the jars for instance.

I’ve been thinking about that since I came up with the idea. As you can see, I all ready changed the servant into a more human like being because I was reading some rules. I’ll have to research a little more but you’re absolutely right. Thanks!
This is it for tonight. But I think It’s starting to look like something.
I’ve got a couple ideas to resolve the possible confusion between master and servant but I think I’ll stew on them for right now.
