Masking background using background without object (photogrammetry)

Hello, im doing some testing with turntables (lazy susan) in real life for photogrammetry.

I place some object (lets say small statue) on the turbtable and shoot from my camera on tripod. I need then to mask the object (controur) from the background.

I know there is a technique for using one image of the background WITHOUT the object (just empty composition) and then extracting the statue using this. The program willl compare each image WITH statue with that one image without the statue and thus will automatically mask out the background.

Is there such program/function in existing program like photoshop or after Effects or plugin for some program, that allows me this kind of masking? (using background image without the object)?

this effect is called difference key or difference matte, you should find it in nearly all comp aplications by default
