How do people manage keys with animation layers for keyframe animation?
In particular, character sets just don’t work with animation layers. This means I can only see keys in the timeline for the selected object, and I can’t get an overall view of keys unless I first select every animated object in the scene. I have no reference for when things are happening–if I want to create a few keys on another object at the same time as on something else, I have to either pin the other object’s keys in the graph editor (which is a hassle) or jump other hoops, when normally I could just select the character set in the graph editor.
How do people manage this stuff with animation layers? I’m getting a headache from this even in simple toy scenes–there must be a better way.
