Making A custom UI

#1

Hi, I kno ive been a tit posting alot recently

I was wondering if anyone could help me with building my custom UI. I understand its in the Form editior or summit. Ive attempted to build one and saved it. But when i open a new window and click on the arrow on the top right to choose a window. My build form doesnt appear. Im probably going about this totall wrong. So if some one could give me a step by step it would be very much appriciated.

Cheers

Your questions start to get so simple that maybe you should browse thru the manual and help files which ship with modo. There’s a whole chapter about this in the manual.

well being a “smart a**” isnt really the best way to get help in a community forum, did you even look on page 61 of your modo manual?

hey dude, no problem here

the pdf is the same as the printed manual (not that I have checked!) page 43 should get you started, and hey keep your chin up, its not like I havent asked a silly question not that yours was, seems like I have read a lot of posts lately asking stuff like “how do make a poly cube” ok well thats a slight exageration but i guess people are more responsive if it looks like you’ve made some attempt at a little research on your own, I have had modo for about a month and I’m still struggling with it, though I have hardly used it so that might be why lol
