hi there…
i would like to know a way to make a “collection” of brushes…
i have a few brushes that i use all the time - or i find VERY usefull.
problem is that their part of different brush sets …
Now, how do i take one brush from one set and another from another
set and collect them in my “own” collection …

thanx in advance…

I’m not sure of the ‘proper’ way to do this but if all else fails you could try this…

Create a new layer, select the brush you wanted and paint on this layer in black (one click with your mouse).

Do this for each of the brushes you want to save.

At this stage you’ll have to take one of the available brush collections and save it as something else, then delete all of the brushes in that collection.

Then one by one, control click your layer to select it, and define brush preset.
Do this for each of your layers and you’ll have your own collection.

Bit of a faff but if all else fails it should work.

to make a new collection:

  1. create new image
  2. right-click on it to bring up the brush selector
  3. click on the little arrow in upper-right corner
  4. choose “preset manager”

now you can add, delete and export brushes
[b]remember that PS only saves the selected brushes
