#41

This is the texture of one of my building.

#42

This is the texture of one of my building.

#43

This the texture of the mole head.

#44

Texture of the body

#45

This is the texture of the eyes. I created the eyes this way, as the mole is a creation of destruction…

#46

This is one of the texture of the mechanical part. It has been scrached and dirty as the mole dig its way.

#47

The scene completelly textured.

#48

The scene before final render.
The render is getting done and by tomorrow I will post my final image.

#49

Here is the render. I didn’t use any light. I rendered using Final Gathering and the souce light is a sphere around the scene.

#50

Post processing: smoke and dust

#51

I added some cars driving away from the scene.

#52

At last. I have finished it. I could still continue working on the image but I don’t have the time anymore. It has been quit a hard challenge but I am happy of the results. I decide to get the look of a catastrophe movie.

I hope you will enjoy it. Please feel free to comment, as I need feedback. I am still learning Maya and I really need advises.

Thanks

Mirage

Any comment?

Sorry my friend… but I think there’s a problem with the notifications… It’s the first I receive for more than 10 days.

I always like the originality of the picture. And it’s very funny.

One crit anyway… some details of environment are a bit coarse, like building textures… more depth of field or motionblur would have permit you to dissimulate these small details.

I like much the leaning framing…

But well, overall your scene is very simpathic thanks to this very funny mole.

Bravo Mirage_fr :applause:

Merci lemog

Unfortunetly I didn’t have the time of adding these type of details. I use the texture I add or could find quickly. I also rendered some depth of field but because I didn’t have the time to experiement I messed it and I couldn’t use it.
Well that was my first challenge and I was learning Maya at the same time…
I am thinking of taking the time to finish it.

#57

Hey, this is a really nice picture you have got here.
Reminds me of this Japanese Horror/Scifi Movies like Frankenstein’s Monsters vs. Godzilla’s Son.

Good luck with voting.
