HAHAHA I love it!!! It keeps me smiling. Beautiful modeling!
Machineflesh 3D Challenge Entry: william green
I started texturing today.
Im going to upload my concept drawing when I get one done. Sometimes I find it easier to just start modeling. I will use the concept art to help me with the pose and background.
Artist71 … excellent work may you have progressed through your model really quickly … keep up the good work man… ill keep an eye out for ya… oh make sure you upload a concept pic… it’s one of the requirements for the challenge… anyways cheers man
Whaoow!!
:bounce:
The rendering of the dog !!!
Amazing !
i’ve just some crits:
it’s about the size of the pipes… with pipes which have so hudge size i’m
wondering where the cylinder of
explosion engine is hidden…
Perhaps i 'll had some flesh in the
transition of the body between fur of the dog and the mecha part , actually it seems
to much slice cutted like the dog were
only a mechanic dog and not a real one
modified.
I love dogs and this one is especially nice, looks like the real one with is sad expression :hmm:
Mapping is also great.
Are you going to use some kind of Fur for this dog?
wooonderful ! just from beginnung that is a great idea… textures starting look really amazing, congrats !

Thanks again for all of the replies. You guys sure are nice.
Grorum: Thanks man. I was thinking about using a fur tool for this but since it is going to only be a still image I didn’t feel like going through all of the work to make something look pretty much the same when I am done. If I was going to animate this then I would hHAVE to use fur. THANKS for the comps!!
harnelbe: Good point about the engine. I had not thought of that. Ill see what I can come up with in the concept sketch. Love your drawing in your machineflesh challenge!
:bounce: :applause: This one really made me smile…very sweet idea…i will wait for your final image…
oohh!, this is very funny, i really like the idea, very original i think, good texturing on the dog man!
ill be waiting for next update.
i agree with harnelbe, think that you shoul do something on the machine-dog transition, good luck on your next steps
great piece … curious to see how your gonna blend the textures where dog ends and mech starts … enjoying it big time

Nice job on the textures, you really feel the folds in the skin -it has a nice weight to it.
ahhh…yeah. I know that already. Im working on it. Did a lot of my concept in 3d. Its how I work. Will be posting a 2D concept soon. Read my previous post.
Here is a start on the concept. Focusing on the back of the dog and how it is going to tie into the flesh part of the dog. I have to be careful with this because I still want this image to be funny and not gross. So I have an engine under glass like a ferrari 360. With wire coming out and into the dog. Also pipes that will be running up to the front of the dogs chest.
