Machineflesh 3D Challenge Entry: Tyson Ibele

#21

Uploaded my recent progress as a modelling milestone…

#22

I like this concept so much more so than the previous one.

For your concept, I think you are on the right track with the machine layers exposed here and there.

I would like to know if you plan on making these areas or additional areas that penetrate deeper, expose more deep internals-

:applause:

#23

Superior modeling, interesting details.

I like it.

#24

Oh my! Your new concept is great, and gross!
Meeting a specimen of nanolice in the street would make me run away, but imagining it in my hair is way more scary!

Sharp model you’ve done! Good job!
:applause:

Great Update You’ve done !
Nothing to crits, beautifull speciment
Will you model some nano modified larva of lice snapped to hairs ? it would be cool

#37

very cool, I love the mechanical parts. for the life part, I am a litle less fan…maybe because there is no texture yet…

#38

Holy! ****

This is looking  :bounce:

No way you can mess it up with texturing.

#39

Thanks everyone!

I’m on 3dsmax 5.0 and the latest renders came from VRay (about a 5 minute render)

Btw…it’s around 600,000 polys…

Also…in the final environment I plan to add things like slimy mechanical (freshly laid) egg pods around the louse…

Texturing’s going to be…interesting ;)…but I’m going to make the rest of the evironment before I start texturing though.
