Machineflesh 3D Challenge Entry: Rafael Mikaelyan
hi people!
I can’t draw so i’m not posting concept drawing.
my idea so far:
(sorry for my terrible english)
verry ugly, filthy and cheap bar. the owner was once a big fan of an old female jazz singer who died recently. So he buys or maybe steals her body from the morgue, and then gives decides to bring her “back” so she could sing in his bar. the technology allows this to be done, by replaceing her organs with mechanical ones.
the visual idea:
her torso will be cut in 3 sections shulders and head and legs are flesh. torso is machine. (e.g. heart is a pump, veins are pipes…) it will be cut in a night dress shape, but her organs (mechanical) are visible, no cover or plateing. i’m thinking of “time machine” style parts. steam powerd maybe…
behing her will stand a big machine which support her, and operator… but viewd from an angle it would be like piano and maestro, and not mad scientist and his machine…
i don’t know if all this makes sence, soon i’ll post some of her head modeling
here is the start of the head. hair is just a ref to see where the top of the scull is going. i’m thinking of long white hair, with lot’s of feathers and stuff that cabaret dancers wear on it

small update, i left the head model to rest
i did the heart (the pump). soon i’ll make lungs and other parts

your modeling is very detailed and clean.
Doesn’t look bad at the moment.![]()
I’m looking forward to seeing more of that.
10x amanresu,
another update: this is the left lung, she will use it just for air, just for singing (the mad scientist upgraded her)
i’ll make another one, which will be used to add air to the blood

here is another update, not much, but just to illustrate a bit more the idea…

- right lung, used to mix blood with air
- left lung, used for singing it pumps air in/out
- heart pump, moves the blood through the veins to support the flesh parts, and brain
- mechanism for the heart pump
i have to add the mechanical veins (pipes and hoses) some more mechanical organs… and will focus on the flesh parts…
then comes the enviorment
