Machineflesh 3D Challenge Entry: Norman Rosenstech

#151

Man, I dont think I’ve posted here yet and for that I am sorry… because this looks insane!!
Well done… everything in the image is just right. You have done a great job. YOur restrained use of colour shows a lot of patience.

It reminds me of the Zerg queen Kerrigan from starcraft… Oh how I love starcraft.

5 stars

#152

Now it’s time for some :beer: Cya soon mate:wavey:

Hi mates !

@adr
Thanks for your support !
I hope there will be many more contests like this one !

@Ionized
Thank you !
Believe it or not, I never played Starcraft (what a shame !).
I will take a look at it !

@Cygnus_X
Having the support of another Sci-Fi fan means a lot to me !
You can’t imagine !
Thank you so much !

#154

excellent work, I love all the elements together bringing this final piece into totallity …

nice character design - quite similar to what I was going to do in the start - I’m glad I changed my idea.

i think a blue hue would have given it a more colder/evil/dark touch, awesome stuff none the less.

im a fan ;p
:bowdown:

#155

By the way, my picture doesn’t have any title.

I will call this one : “Domination”
For what it’s worth…:wink:

And for the story, well I’ll get this one short, just a few words :

“It is written that one should not venture in certain dark places…but in those places, sometimes, light turns out to be a treacherous ally as it may lead the thoughtless explorer to a ghastly fate…” :cool:

So be it !:wavey:

#156

Kraull, Ravendsg, Tremoside thanks again to you all !

@Versiden
Yes, I remember your beginnings in the contest !
Blue hue was in the plans but changed in the last hours…It would have meant adding snow and ice you know…:smiley:

Thank you and good luck !

#163

//Lonx

#164

Thanks Lonx !

:wavey: :wavey:

#165

wowow , look and feel of the pic both great ! idea too !

+1 votes to you , good sir , have a nice day :slight_smile:

#166

Thanks a lot Squibbit !:cool:

Personal feeling : I should have submitted a bigger resolution for my final jpeg…
1024x706 is definitely too small considering the position of the main character in the scene.

But hey !
Too late for regrets !
(I’ll keep that in mind for the next challenge)

#167

i think 1028 is cool enough for the challenge … when u sent the pic to
the print and they make a poster of it THEN remember to increase the
resolution :slight_smile:

#168

Im haveing trouble getting over how god damn amazing that is.
Good work man, you got my vote.
