Machineflesh 3D Challenge Entry: Nathan Fine

#41

this is the first render of some new holographics

#42

more transparency applied and graphical interface applied as well

#43

In this image I added a bit of geometry to the holographic projetor, it looked a little funny with it just standing there, it looked kind of funny

#44

I decided to bring the camera in closer for a tighter shot so here is my first test render of the new angle with shadow maps applied

I also added a hand control module to control the plasma Displacer Gun  I liked this idea better than the hologram screen, I may or may not add some holograms back in, not sure yet

#45

A little added environmetal clouds in the BG

#46

this is a redered image of the specular values in the over all image quality

#47

A shadow map render, this rendering is of the shadow varying intensities of the image

#48

the next image in a series of renders, this image is of the shaded textures and lighting of the image rendered with no color

#49

this is the RGB color maps in the rendered image only

#50

It’s looking good, like the see through video screen thing a lot and the character is very good. Looking forward to seeing the final render.

#51

here is a render of the hanger background by itself ready for compositing

#52

this is an image of the hover craft rendered in a seperate plane ready for compositing

#53

Ooops! I just realized that I was posting away and I Managed to skip over my original concept sketch of the hanger, so anyway without further adue here it is the long awaited hanger concept

#54

another version of the previous concept sketch also done before but I forgot to post it

#55

these are some more buildings that I drew for possable backgrounds

#56

This is the background matte for the final image

#57

This is another image of the Background with a bluring filter on so that I can add DOP to my final image because of being unable to render the actual image with DOP on so I will instead use aplhas to composite the blured sections where I want them

#58

this is the control panel that is in the gackground of the environment

#59

The Alpha matte for the control panel

#60

these are a couple of coolant pipes justlying arround the hanger
