Mutoid Armadillo;
Today a seven band armadillo can dig a burrow 10 to 12 ft. long. It can smell a grub several feet away and dig it up and eat it in a few seconds.
In the future, a race of machines created these 30 ft. mutoid armadillos, part mutant, part machine, to hunt, sniff out, dig up, and eat humans. They can burrow several hundred feet, smell a human a quater mile away, dig them up and eat them in a matter of minutes. Their sole purpose is to track down the last of the human race who are hiding in caves below ground and exterminate them.

I’ve been thinking of some other idea for my model. the Armadillo might not be that good of one. I mean “real scary” huh? Most people I run it by just don’t see it… So It’s still up in the air. I’m still working on some other sketches. But I did think of another one that might work.
I spent 3 hours in the dentist chair this morning and the thoughts were flowing along with the pain. I was thinking of a dentist scene. His arms and hands of course would be a complex tool set. They could contain some rather bizarre extreem forms of dentist tools, syringe, saws, picks, probes, blades, grinders etc. The scene could be him over some poor slob strapped into a chair with the dentist with an devilish grin, blood spattered glasses as he works on the subject. Possibly one eye would be a built in magnifier.
Any thoughts on this new one? Ditch the Armadillo, go with the Dentist??

it doesn’t necessarily have to be scary to be mechanized…but, my only concern with the armadillo is… is there any flesh left? your design is just about 100% machine… i think you might want more blend… less machine more flesh :slight_smile: throw some ideas around and jot em down, maybe use these mechanical ideas here with something more strange… modify a T-Rex? implant it with a human brain? you have lots to try, good start though shrugs

oh and a dentist idea sounds good… give us some sketches :slight_smile: then we can see where you are going :wavey:
