Very nice colorings in your flesh tere…especialy the face map…maybe an all over bump map for the skin to bring out the highlights a bit ,but very sure your working on that …very good modeling man…I’m sure the texturing and the final compo will impress the same:applause: :applause:
Keep it uP

I like your textures too!!! That name BOBO is really friendly for a cute-freak creature like him…ironic… I like that.
Martin, your work is AWESOME!!!

#103

will improve reflections l8r…

Keep going :buttrock: :buttrock:

#107

argh, error while submitting. Not typing all that update text again - will do that when I get into work tomorrow…

sleep time ;p

#108

wow Bobo looks extra cool!.. i really like the way youre doing your work… u have a great piece of art man! the face of this guy is really expresive… i think thats very dificult to achieve… thats one of the reasons he looks so alive!
i just have a comment on the skin shader… for my personal feel the specular should be lower in value… but is matter of personal taste… maybe im wrong…
keep rocking … ill be following you!:buttrock:

#109

hi…

continuation from previous post:
here is that latest update on the textures… still alot that needs to finished and so little time.
The leather textures don’t seem to look as good from a far camera distance vs up close - so I’ll have to tweak that a bit.

still need to fix some skinning issues, mainly with the arm/elbow bend which is giving me grief! Will save that stress for last ;p

thx for the support every1

@rattlesnake, I’ll work on the specular… the chest / shoulders and some parts in the face, are higher in specular value - trying to give the illusion of sweat. Will have to work on it - this is uncharted territory for me ;p

anyway, for now I’ll move onto texturing da brain dude…

Very great texturing! Simulation of sweat is good, but maybe a little bit lower volume of glossiness would be better. but, of course, mybe I’m wrong.

#111

Hi Versiden,

You should work on specmaps, allthough i think you can easly edit their illusion via post effect, just to save your time. So all your work is excellent here and very impressive also! Keep it up mate!
Cya,
Tremo

That’s looking impressive. I really like the saggy feel to the chest and belly.

Head shot of the Brain face map…

wow alot of work, deadline looming…

#114

modelled the teeth tonight, and texture…
did some morphs for this expression… pretty close to what I need for the final image.

Tomorrow I’ll work on final pose, and fix some skinning problems…

thx for the support all ;p
