This is what i call " a final image".
I hope we meet us here again, and it was always a pleasure to hear from u.
Best wishes for the future, for your work and all what u can imagine:beer:
Peace to u, my friend!!!
I’m new here, but your work inspire me to talk. Very nice concept, very magical picture and a beautifull detail (the blue butterfly) on an ugly theme. Excuse my english, because i’m latin. I hope you understand this message.
Polus

wow, thanks for the gr8 responses… I’ve been quite intimidated posting works here, but now I’m motivated to create more pieces. This challenge has been awesome and I’ve learnt so much in the last 3 months.
Can’t wait for the next challenge!

Yo Martin !!!
Excellent job the personalities of the charactors are impressive !!!
The mutant version of pink and the brain (lol)
Excellent stuff !
Hey man…in that underwear!
Luck is a needful component of course, although as i was collecting your WIPs from the voting page…you don’t have to be afraid of. Your image with the butterfly has the right balance.
-humour
-texturing and modeling skills
-good composition
-original character design (Bobo is really awesome, a big…big Bobo, and the Brain have his own excellent style too)
I’m not a sponsor or a judge, but if i could be one of them i surely choose your image…why? There are many images here with superious skills and special efforts, but if i searchin for an image to advertise something i need some well balanced picture. Funny but not idiotic, strong characters but not horroristic ones. Your image has a touch. And it’s friendly for all ages from 6-70. This is why i hope you will finish well in the voting.
I wish you all the bests,
Tremo
i agree with Tremo …u made a great composition…is very artistic!
i told u is one of the best over here…good luck mate!![]()
Have you seen on the issues page?
Next Monday…then private jury and the final results…IT IS COMIN!!!
hiya…
ye, I’ve seen the issues page… I think the private judging will take a while longer too, till then the wait continues ;p
for now, just keeping busy with more modelling on other things.
thx for the inspiring words nadeem, Tremo and rattlesnake!:buttrock:
This is fab!!
I haven’t really followed the 3D thread… it was hard enough finding time to really get involved in the 2D thread!! But i’ve tried to look now and again, and followed links from my own thread (thanks for the comments Versiden!)
I love the charcter of these two and the whole idea of this gentle creature only occassionally being able to show his personality. It’s quite sad. Reminds me of work.
There’s such a nice contrast in their reactions to the butterfly!!
I love it…
thx duddlebug, appreciate your comments ;p
ok need some HELP… reinstalled max5, and now my modifier list is missing the ATTRIBUTE HOLDER.
wtf is going on, doesn’t this plugin come with the standard max5 package. If some1 can point me in the right direction that would be sweet.
The PEN Attribute Holder 2 scripted modifier is designed as a holder for custom attributes that provides an extended tool set for the animator. It is useful for hands because it allows you to store presets for the custom attributes and share them with other PEN Attribute Holder 2 modifiers via a save, load and merge function. The modifier also allows you to place custom attributes on the modifier, rather than at the objectÂ’s base level. You will learn how to use this modifier in this lesson.
If 3ds max is running, exit the program.
Start 3ds max.
Because the script is in the startup folder, it is loaded automatically when you start 3ds max. Next, you will check that the script has been properly installed.
Create a sphere in any viewport.
On the Modify panel, look in the modifier list for the modifier PEN_Attribute_Holder_2.
If the modifier doesnÂ’t appear on the list, check that the script is in the correct folder, and restart 3ds max.
Hi Martin,
I hope this is what you’re searching for…
Bests to you my friend,
Tremo
