Machineflesh 3D Challenge Entry: Markus Schäfer
Imagine: In a couple of years, some strange computer scientists will invent a method of loging into the human brain. As part of the process of globalisation the human rights will be abolished (due to large companies). Now all doors are wide open to develop a system to compute data with the power of the human brain. All conscious-generating parts will be turned off, but both, the creativity and the universal abilities are still available. Instead of a PC you will have such a thing under your desk. Complex 3D Animations, computing of huge databases, playing realistic games, this device does it all. Arms, feet as well as genitals are no longer useful and will be removed. Maybe in a time like this, there will also be some “modding” as at PCs today (e.g. glooming blood, different hair styles (if hair still exist), muscle trainer, …)
Here are only a few quick’n dirty sketches. More detail will follow soon.
And please post your opinions!
Very Snazy, this is a great background story for your piece. For this contest I think that a good story is very important. Every part should have a purpose and you got that down good with this story. I must say I like the little guy in the box the best, he looks like a sinister little fella.
Can’t waite to a character fully jacked in!
