WOW! Man, I’m just honored to be allowed to post in this ROCKING :buttrock: threed!

You’ve really a immens great style and creativity! BTW your modelling style is very different from mine; it looks like you’ve no reference and you “just” model it; Í use allot reference and model all in a 2D-viewport

Congratulations with this concept/work!

(please check my threed and say what you think of my concept  )

#102

cool sketch and very original idea !!

#103

#104

Jjack -> don’t lower the arms immediately my friend and show us what you are able to do, courage.

#105

 COOL

#106

Wow!!, amazing, just amazing :buttrock:

#107

Dutchman,
you are right man. No blueprints here, just some woman photos and an arm photo to do the monster arm musculature, very wip yet. I think for good works is a must to have some references, even without use that as blue prints

bigkrull and mosconariz, thanks a lot friends!

Jjack, no way buddy. All the works here have 3 months to be improved and I think we will see some great masterpieces at the finish of this Challenge, from lots of another artists
Just don’t pay much attention and try to make your work with very much dedication. We will learn with each other on this 3 months challenge and I think it’s GREAT!

Lemog, exactly!

Updates coming
Cya :wavey:

Yeah, just a quick google for bjork robot returned a few pictures:

http://www.director-file.com/cunningham/521.html

I think it’s more the texture/shader you have created that reminds me of this video, rather than the form of the “mother” you’ve created.

I think your final image is going to be far freakier than anything Bjork could come up with, and that’s saying something.

Really loving your work.

#109

Pleribus,
oh man! Many thanks
The picture looks great. Nice design on this one. Mine will be different but references are always welcome.

Thanks again, cya

#110

Zbrush for modelling and textures in about 1 hour and 30 min. Maya for shading and scanline render.

#111

Just to test the brain shader under the same lighting of the model. The brain is over his head just as layout. The monster has no textures yet and the model is still very WIP (no “Zbrushed” yet).

#112

thats looking really good, I especially like the skinfolds in the head, the only thing i noticed is the shortness of the biceps, looks a bit odd. fantastic stuff though, should end up awesome.

#113

Very cool brain and texturing!

I rarely say ‘wow’ (I don’t know why, but it seldom occurs to me as a possibly applicable expression) but in this case I have to say ‘Wow!’ - The brain is excellent. Gooey. Slimy. Ventricular. Full of icky stuff. Full score.

#119

That falls well, it was necessary also a texture of brain for me. But perhaps that holds is a little too appetizing…

#120

wow, thats some crazy stuff, excellent concept
just one suggestion, the pregnant robot should have a neck;)
