Machineflesh 3D Challenge Entry: Krishnamurti M. Costa

#961

excellent work!!!:buttrock: :buttrock:

you’ve got my vote:thumbsup:

#962

Antropus

The final result looks like a visual image from a live action terror film. Too dark concept for me, but a very cool image. The technique have precision and it is the best compositing I’ve seen from this challenge ( there’s other good models, but they forgot that the final image is the target ).

Why didn’t you keep the hair? It gives a more organic look to the mother.

I just think the best part of your details is not present at the final image due to the dark lightning.

It’s not because I am brazilian, but I think the brazilian guys did the best at this contest.

I’d give a prize for you, another one to Fausto, Raptor and Yakuzza (unfinished).

Good luck!

#963

Just drop here by to my favorite 5 entry.Hard to pick 5,but you are one of them,Good luck with voting.May Gods of voting be kind.Heheh,I am not Brazilian.

#964

Amazing attention to detail, Antropus. Your earlier posts of the hand detail just blew me away! Good luck!

#965

Amazing work, Antropus! :applause: :applause: :applause:
Please, do not let your new work keep your talent away from us “down” here… hehehe!! Just throw some pearls on us once and a while, ok?!

And btw, you’ve got my vote too!

Deus te abençoe nessa sua nova etapa hollywoodiana… e passando aqui por Atlanta, dê um alô… estaremos aqui a sua disposição!

Peace!

#966

I second that!

maurocor,
no problem, bro and thanks a lot!

syt3d, Vilpep, allenatl,
thanks a lot my friends!

SilvioToledo,
oh man, thank you! I don’t keep the hair because it really looks off (like a wig). But thanks a lot!

MacSilva,
thank you, brazilian buddy!
Passando pela California, me da um toque tambem. Grande abraco brother!

ila_solomon,

I hope that the people can vote not only because of the “perfection” of these works here in the challenge. Tecnique is great (and sometimes very easy if you use the right plugins), but is not everything. I tried to do my job thinking in 3D as art, not only as a “beautiful” or “realistic” image (the same that I tried in my “Old Man Painting”). I think the art is the base for every kind of visual representation and some works that I saw here are really great examples of 3DArt.
Some people can look for one picture and see just one “face” of that work but another people can look for an image for several minutes and see lots of toughts there. So I really appreciated all these people that don’t looked to my work only as a “ugly monster” but also as a “cute robot” and so many other thoughts that I put in.

The rules for this challenge are great and very clear: idea > sketch > WIP > participation/share > final work. So, I hope that the people have in mind these points, the spirit of this challenge. If not, the most beautiful piece deserve to win, even if these important points are off…

BTW good luck for everyone that made amazing works here having or not these points in mind.

Cya and good luck,
Kris

Heya guys. Here’s a bigger image if you want to check (about 1.05mb):

:buttrock: It’s a fact, you hate us, you’re starting a war here, there’s no way to stop us, watch yourself and your pets, specially your fishes  Hehehe…

(And U made it in less time than we did  Maybe I should think in spending my life seeding potatoes:rolleyes: )

Are you human?

#973

Where are you working at Antropus? I suspect you are Fausto’s co-worker at Blizzard, because your work is at that level, and because you guys are both Brazillian friends that now live in California. Even if i’m wrong, your work is that good. Any idea when your short film will be finished? We are looking forward to it. The plumbers facial rig was insane, i’ve never seen a facial rig setup like that before.

I have seen some really fantastic entries in the Machineflesh Challenge, and only a handfull come close to this one in my humble opinion.
Your attention to detail is remarkable. The textures are outstanding.
You have truly mastered your craft. Great work!!
