Machineflesh 3D Challenge Entry: Krishnamurti M. Costa

#921

u are most welcome antropus.honestly i think removing the hair(wig much rather as u mentioned  ) makes complete sense, the robotic mothermachine looks like a mechanical masterpiece.A result of some revolutionary technological advancement and putting a red wig on her head would kind of take away from the beauty of her mechanical design.Thinking about it from the perspective of what is goinb on in the piece,i think it was the right decision. Absolutely stunning integration of machine and flesh with a deep philosophical meaning as u talked about in the earlier pages of this thread.the atmosphere is incredible.just love it.u are a great ,(thinking) artist

Dear friends,

The Machineflesh Challenge was a GREAT experience for me. I really enjoyed to make something different of my other works (realistic cartoon ones  ). But here, I made some good friends. Great artists and GREAT people also! People that help me a lot to improve my work and people that helped another people, the spirit of this challenge. So, I would like to thank you guys, for all your support, kind words, good crits, tips and friendship. You are so great and will be a great memory for me. This is my first challenge and I wish to improve my work to participate in another ones. My time is over before the final date (one week) but I put some good efforts here, trying to do the things in the correct form. I think is very natural that people like it and people don’t like it, because we are all human
But I made a honest work, just like you all guys and for this I wish you THE BEST! Good luck with your entries and please, finish you great works, friends!
Maybe I will not have access to internet in the next days so I just want to say bye.

:wavey: :bounce:

Your entry pretty much rocks!!! The concept and execution are top notch

#924

had a great time watching you go through this, your 3D skill is truley some of the best I’ve ever seen. I just have one nitpick, and I feel horrible saying this, but the sky…just…doesnt fit…

You should look at references of clouds, these are too designed and boring, go for those dramatic huge chunky yet fluffy ones, with the sun beams hitting through it…these just dont match with the background.

Other then that, its great, good luck!

Speech less, it is looking great. Amazing
best of luck:thumbsup:

Kris,

Hopefully you’ll find time to continue bringing your work and lessons here.

And if not, then we’ll all just have to start paying to see it in film.

This image, no matter what you wish to change, is a masterwork, and should bring you a downpour of job offerings, so just make sure your boss give you a raise  .

This thread could be the start of your first book or Maya tutorial DVD, as well.

To fame and mingling with rich celebrities.
