Machineflesh 3D Challenge Entry: Keith Le-Clezio
u say u made all inner detail and is not going to appear in the final shot? wow thats insane, cool design and model man:thumbsup: i really like the three tubes , they look good, this is going cool!:buttrock:
What are you doing?? You spent a lot of time in the inside of the brain and it will not be exposed??!!! :buttrock:
You’re really mad; I thought that the iris detail was insane and almost useless, but I just can’t understand so much work in something that will not appear at all in the final image… :banghead: Maybe I’m too stupid to understand…
rattlesnake & Mosconariz. hahahahaha… yeah i know but i have a few ideas for the final image compostion where you get to see all that detail… but remember the challenge outline, this is a WIP challenge so really over the course of the challenge you get to see the details anyway and you get a understanding of how the character mechs are implemented… cheers mates
Hi man how’s it going, I see you added another piece to the head. I’ve been working all day as well, my model is coming together a bit, but still need to do some more work on reference material. I am making a sea siren and sea scene now. Water is going to be a pain, but I guess that’s part of the challenge, Anyway keep up the good work Letr Brian
My take…I like him…Forget about the machine flesh issue for a moment, well beyond this…I like his look, the square jaw,the stylized look is cool, tough, but he still looks noble in his own way…I mean 90% machine,10% flesh,or 90% flesh, and 10% machine…What’s important to me is the overall look and feel.We will all get the machine flesh combo in our own way…But I look at this even beyond the challenge…This piece can be shown in different angles and forms after the challenge…There will be more ways of showing off this creation later than just the “Final Shot”…
Nice details, nice inside the head and nice outside...............Either way there is some very nice work here,I like him in all modes.keep up the nice attention to details keith, and keep him looking cool and stylized, you got a nice piece of work here............
Bwest… thanks for stoping by mate… i just checked you’re entry.
its good to see you under way with you’re newwer concept…

Mosconariz : cheers man… hehehe ill will do my best… ![]()
Virtuoso : thanks for the encoragement man… i agree with you 100%…
im really liking going to town on this model just layering up detail upon detail puts a big smile on my face and im learning heaps aswell… i take this challenge more as a learning experience… cheers … Paradise FB
Does the final image have to be a single scene. I mean you could treat your final image as a technical diagram of this guys implants. Do picture within pictures. Divide it up, show closeups of the eye, do a cutaway of his hard drive brain, show transparent components… I mean, you don’t have to go with just a shot of your guy in some sort of dynamic pose…
More like a product brochure than a scene…Just a thought.
Pleribus : yeah this is a similar thought to what i had in mind for the final comp. i really like the brochure idea or top secret file would be good aswell… thanks for the comments man… cheers PFB
this is a really tough question. You’ve got a great image with heaps of cool things going on everywhere how do you show them all in one picture? the Brochure is a good idea. maybe a scene with a few dudes with the same head talking or doing something would be cool then you could get mulitple views?
Keep it up mate.![]()
Creativer : thanks for the comments mate… thats a cool idea…
i had this idea that the character op12 is in this lab type scene with all these monitors all around the place, on some of the moniters there are isolated zoom views of the major alterations… what do ya think?
Hi! ParadiseFlyBird great update you have there. I Really like the Idea of the top secrets files that will be a good way of showing everything.![]()
Hi again- I really can understand your way of detailling.:applause: You think about the invisible functions too and your piece is not only “eye-candy”.
I give u my deep respect in this way of thinking!!!![]()
I love this thread, man!
3 new ideas to solve the multi-images scene:
1- The man is repairing something in his head in front of a multi angle mirror… (A little like terminator scene in which he takes his eye out but with more mirrors in more angles)
2- A spy is watching some screens portraying our machineflesh character…
3- In a old fashioned house, pictures of him in every corner, maybe before and after the implants… Maybe with a tragic end, maybe with a girl crying in foreground (out of focus)…

Big fan of the detailed modeling and the style of the cylindrical shapes and how their edges form. Very cool! He looks like he’s got “something on his mind”…I’m too funny.
Attention to detail is incredible. Keep that up…pleeeease.
When can we see the rest of the body and all that too??:wip:
