this is an early concept. I am reworking it with more detail and better texture rendering and cleaner lines. This was just to get my idea down on paper.

I started refining the design of my creature. I have a backstory to him but im waiting until I start my modeling to post it. Hopefully someone will check this out at some point.

This is a carnivorous slug that dwells in swamplands. Waiting much lick a crocodile for an unsespecting passerby. The slug was extremely quick in water but lacked any sort of appendages that made it threatening on land. A cybernetic scientist captured the slug in order to perform cybernetic enhancing experiments. The experiment was a success. Unfortunately it was the scientists last…the slug soon came to and devoured the scientist and every other animal and creature in his lab. The lion is no longer the king of the jungle. There is a new species at the top of the food chain.

yeah it has a really anphibious look to it … cant wait to see the model… goodluck in the challenge
