Deep within my mind are worlds within worlds and alternate realities surfacing from the origin of truth. What world is this…

So a new reality begins, and the story… continues…

In a time of war, God and his Angels fight to defend the existence of Heaven… but in war, all doors become open, and pathways tred upon. In this time Satan, and his legion of Fallen Angels and Demons kidnap Metatron, a Seraphim. Highest ranking of all the Angels, and the very voice of God, all of Hell is joyous in the capture of this great being. The world of Earth without Metatron can not hear God’s voice, and chaos breaks out. To maintain such a state of existence, Satan keeps Metatron deep within the labrynth of Hell. And to be sure that he doesn’t escape… thus begins the in depth modification of this once great Angel with the very tools of Hell’s forge.

Basic wing designs and restraints.

Leg controls, body design, back control/spinal tap that will paralyze and inflict pain and terror unto the Angel.

Closeup on the face, blind with some form of basic covering, and face/mouse “muzzled” and attached to the skin in order to restrain speaking for God or calling for help. Some basic design for tube/wire placement as well.

Ok, those are the basic sketches of different parts, kind of the draft of it all. I have three more sketches to scan in next…

An enhanced view of the leg brace that assists in the blood conversion and implementation of pain and horror.

An in depth layout of the tubes and wires spread out over the body and its incorporation.

And one of the wings detailed out in restraints.

Now, the DISCLAIMER

I am a strong christian, but I have some alternative ideas or understandings, and symbolisms. In this particular concept there will be some upside down crosses, and pentagrams. And overall you will really feel an evil has captured the Angel. I don’t know if it will be rejected merely because of the satanic reference over the good, but take it with an open mind. I’ll get the sketches online shortly and hopefully within a week or so I’ll have the models starting to come together. I’ll also try to enhance the story and expand upon the concepts. Guess we shall see how it turns out… but in art, hold nothing back.

Hey there. Very nice concept! I think, that you are creating a powerfull image, and the fact that your faith is enveloped into the concept will make it that much more powerful… Passion is a truely wonderful form of fuel for the heart, mind, and soul. I can’t wait to see your models! Looking forward to seeing what you do with this!

Thank you Blue, always good to have the encouragement. And scifi, yes… there is much passion when you bring faith and energy into a concept. I truly hope to see great things come from my model, for myself. Winning or losing doesn’t matter, it is all about bringing to life something pure. Thank you very much for your support. First draft of the leg render. More textures need to be done, and the metal is not fully modeled so it is plain looking right now. Blood/Gas in tubes will be tweaked,and the rear of the eye modified for realism. A lot left to do on this piece but its a basic start.

That concept is full of mystery and power I am waiting for more… I agree with you that wining or loosing doesn’t matter… but it will allow you to convey your ideas… Go for it…

And thanks to you Ra, there is much mystery within this piece… and it will take much time to be able to portray it all. As I get more of it together I will release a more full story to really help to envision the conflict and concept. All in time…

I’m also intrigue by some kinda religious themes, should have tried that myself :banghead: should be quite interesting to see what your final picture be like.

i would agree winning is not the main priority, (not much chance to win also) but its the spirit of things that count. I’ve never completed anything like that before, thats why i joined the competition to push myself to do something complete for once :blush:

Sounds very interesting, well, I just came to look what you’re working at and wish you good luck. The fact, the seraphim is a “half-angel” himself will make this very interesting. And I cant wait to see the hellforge coming to life. Sounds like much work. 2 Armies are awaiting you. Looking forward to a great work.

Here is an update on my model, more detail on the leg brace. Far from done, needs more detail on the main section and some texture modifications still but its coming together. One piece out of a lot more to go…
