hey all.
firstly, good luck to all! saw some good stuff so far & i can’t wait to see how everyone progresses.

i’m working on a concept right now. hopefully i have something by tomorrow. i got some ideas but i don’t know how to convey them all in one still unless it’s huge with lots of different pov shots on it lol oh well. i’ll figure something out!

this doesn’t look nearly as interesting as everyone else’s, but hopefully the final product turns out ok. the thing is i was working on something along these line already when this challenge was announced, so i’m modifying my idea a bit. it’s basically a female who’s mechanical spine is hooked into a floating computer that scans all of her cybernetic parts & gives her a diagnostic on her status. might even some how contribute her memory being downloaded into the computer. i gotta think it through a bit more. stay tuned! lol

ok i got a different idea.
i started playing with the idea of mechanical martial artists/using mechanics to reach new levels/‘electric enlightenment’
so i started drawing this shaolin looking guy, but instead of the typical 6-dot tattoos that shaolin monks usually have, i made them sort of like audio plugs. so far he pretty much only has a mechanical skeleton & a pretty much normal exterior. so i guess i’ll have to develop some of this a little more. i was thinking maybe have his spine poke thru his flesh or maybe make his hands in some sort of synthetic looking way. i have an idea of other monks, ‘plugged in & meditating’ in the background while i’ll show this character in some sort of kata or something

started modeling the face. i’ll work on how to better integrate the machinery for the rest of the body once i get the head finished. just have some minor tweaks to do & then it’s on to the ears

modeled the ear a bit today (i guess yesterday at this point. ahh the joys of the cg world). did a little bit of face tweaks but little else… cuz ears suck! lol
