Machineflesh 3D Challenge Entry: Ila Soleimani
Hi,
Youāve very good result. Frankly, this is the one i prefer with some other iāve seen. Render feel good, and make a very pertinent picture. Very funny and amazing.
I like. :applause: :applause:
i like the humourous concept, cos you dont see to much of it. its great, lots of detail, bright colours, it what you want
I think there is too much bright green in the scene, giving a kind of radioavtive feel to the milk and goat. Also iād definately lose the fade to green in the background.
Other than that I really like your work. Best of luck, you should do well.
Woow, David, Thatās great, exactly what I wanted from you! ⦠it helped me very much to figure some issues. I almost took every suggestion of yours, the red mower was somewhere in my mind which you brought it out and the repositioning of the goat solved the composition problems!
Thank you again David for your precious time, Iām lucky to have a great art directorās crits on my work. ;-D

Thatās right, should be less. thanx.
Thanx a lot again you great friends for the kind words.
hahahahahaha
i love your idea ! it made me laugh at work like a stooopid
really cool :applause:
huuuuā¦no offense, but i think it would be good to work more the global composition of the pic to get something moreā¦aaaawww ok who am i to say that ???
Damn , I like this alsooo alottttttt

That is a surreal Grass , Radioative I mean ehheh
crap, i guess i should quitā¦
this looks sweet, howād you do the grass if you donāt mind me asking?
that crit image you did David is one if the best overpaints Iāve seen⦠you showed so many valid points in it. really interesting to see.
I must say ila, that I prefer the eye like David did(no eyelids or blood)
I also prefered the tree(s) when they where placed to the right side. with a few fields in the distance to the left behind the sheep.
I liked that the area around/behind the sheep and cows face where realative clean⦠it read much better that way. right now you have alot of ādead spaceā to the top right. my eyes tend to draw that way, even though I dont want to⦠I want to be able to look at the cows face first(I can do this easily in the paintover)
I also prefered the blue sky, and I think you should add a few painted clouds in PS. with other words, the paintover was for me almost perfect⦠loved it. if you could try to incorporate a few more things from it, youāll get my no1 vote, your old fart
Hi folks, thanx a lot for your kindness.
Stipen, Bowdown to you Master.
bigfatclown, sure! it is no secret:
I used Shag:Fur, and a green checkerd base plane for the varying green colors. I rendered it in a seperate task and composite with PS, for masking, I used the same scene, which grass (shag:fur) was %100 white and other things were %100 black.
fellah, Yes you are right, composition needs more work, like that tree, bg mountains and clouds, which I forgot to put there! and the eyes, as I told you I prefer these painful eyes over funny ones for my poooor cow!
Moooohahahaha ā¦
Ila, this is what i kinda meant with the sky and the kinda bright sunny day thing.
edit: image deleted
A bit of glow on the metal and bottles would help, i think.
I donāt really know, iām awful at trying to crit peoples work:shrug:
Besides, iām sure youāll make a good job of it anyway:thumbsup:
awsome work Ila ⦠I“m glad you finished this one. But I“m a bit dissapointed how it turns out in the end, it just haven“t that character that your sketch had. I think the machine is too big compared to the cows body. The way you have done it in your sketch looked much more funnier and more balanced. Also the expression isnt as good as in your first wips.
Don“t get me wrong, it“s a great work and there is a lot of effort in it, but sadly the pic has lost a lot of style within the progress
aaaah, Iām dying!
