Ila, I have to say, youve done a fantastic job with this idea.

I only wish i had had more time (i say more time, just time) to take my design further than the concept drawings.

Considering you and me came up with almost identical ideas separately, you made a much better job than I would have done with mine.

Unfortunately, work, life, and another concept art proj im working on just got in the way.

I do hope you win!

Neil

Aw, long time since I peeked in here - and I hear you’re not going to be able to finish it? Dammit, man, just quit sleeping - you’ll be able to freelance AND finish this at the same time!

… seriously though, it’s good to hear some people have jobs :stuck_out_tongue: and I can only hope you’ll be able to finish this outside of the challenge later on and post the results, OK? It’s one of the best entries already, so you have to do it!

Anyways, good luck with your work and everything else

:wip: :banghead: :banghead: waiting…:deal:

#392

With this test I tried to achieve a cartoon/fantasy touch.
Not a final composition.
I think 3 additional animals are enough.

#393

[This one was missed in the server crash]

These are only opinions/suggestions, and I am definately no expert on the subject, so ignore if you like

I think you should look into another angle instead of the direct side on shot… the cows expression is priceless, and it’s hard to see with the side view. Maybe a 3/4 shot or something… that way you could introduce more of your animals off iin the distance (maybe even in the foreground?)

The sky’s colour suggests a dusk or dawn setting, but the lighting is very white and bright. maybe introduce a yellow/orange fill light to give the sense of a setting/rising sun or maybe use a bright blue sky

I’d really love to see the chiwawa in there growling at the cow… I really love that little guy.

#395

ila, this is so incredibly great!!!
It speaks “MachineFlesh” right in the first
milisecond upon viewing the image!
You have hit the mark man!!!
:applause:

And BTW my wife thinks you’ll win

#396

No words but : :bounce:  :buttrock:

#397

:buttrock: Cool and funny! I love it!

#398

good to see, I like how the animals got integrated.
I think you should consider a slight perspective on the cow as Pleribus suggested. this might also help to fix the silhouette of the sheep.
I know you’ll tweak the render more so, nothing to say… but I got very surprised to see how well the animals melted into the scene, picking on the cow, almost like birds on a corpse!
you could put alot of milkbottles under his ass(that’s the place where the bottles are ‘spitted out’, no?)

and I tried to make a quick modification to your image in PS to show how I would have prefered the neck [image]
only my opinion though, makes him look fatter and his neck is bent a little to make him feel more “down/sad”. but the stretched look you have now is also good and express other feelings.

over and out… work fast now fart, this has potential!
:wip:

#399

where is my crazy Chiwawa in this sweet pic? :bounce: :bounce:

Amazing style and sensitive humour! :buttrock:
Perfect job!!

Just a thought: maybe a bit higher or more perspectivic viewpoint could be better…(don’t listen to me am a newbie).
Best luck via judging!!!
