Hi,
those textures are really cool.
Although I have to say I like the top picture on page 21 of your thread more. Looks more comic style. Don’t like the blood.
But that’s just my opinion.
Keep the amazing work coming,
Russel

Wao ! really love the cow with its machine ! But how will be the final composition ?
One comment:
Is there any “falloff” on the texture of your cow?
Because there’s that kind of effect on the legs of the cow…
Oh my god I’ve been missing for a long time here mate!
Fantastic artwork man.
Modeling along with the textures are reaaly freaky outstanding!
You know what to do and you do it well that’s for sure!
Keep on Ila!
:buttrock: :buttrock:
This is simply outstanding! I have been lurking in this thread for some time now and it just gets better and better.
One thing that’s bothering me about your last image is the blood. It just doesn’t fit with the rest of the concept. You have a highly stylized sort of cartoony/imaginative fusion of a cow and a machine, but by making the cow bleed you add a tone of realism and seriousness that in my opinion removes the humor you had from the beginning.
But apart from that this is amazing (and the little dog cracks me up every time I see it)!

Wow ila , your cow and all his friends are simply superb , nice details in the models , the textures are perfect and the cow has a lot of personality , i really like how you put the blood in the cow looks great man
Keep on:thumbsup:
WOW! Just AWESOME! I really enjoy your process! The texturing is really nice and realistic! Especially the “plushy”-look of the cow is AWESOME! When your final image is finished I want to buy it on a print

YOU ROCK DUDE! :buttrock:
Hi there, thank you all, friends.
Well, To have blood or Not to have blood there!
… some liked it, some not. I myself do not like it much, but something must be there, dunno what, yet.
maybe…, emmm, … let’s think about it.
gpepper, Yes I’ve put fall-off for the skin, 50% in the self-illumination slot. but that leg had some texturing flaws which now are corrected. thanx.
Dutchman, You will have it.
hey farty, update looks good. but, I do think that the eye gets lost a lil bit in all the white. I think it would help if you made the skin around it darker(black?), to pop it from the skin.
I like the blood. I don’t see this as a cartoon entry anymore, as I thought it would be from the start. more like a cartoon entry with realistic textures, which I like. it evokes more emotions from me, for the poor cow.
one more little thing, could you try to push the head back a little, towards the body. maybe you’ll have to move/squeeze the neck plates a little to acheive this. dont know why, but I think it could look cool. might make him look more round and fat.
:wip:
Hahaha, good points,Bastard. I’ve already fix around the eyes, no white spot there anymore. let’s see what I can do to the neck area…
(BTW, I can’t see you online since the day before. :-I)
Shoey, hello pal! :wavey: what’s up?
Hi,
You make a very terrific cow machine. is it an écologic machine?
Your cow have really amazing friends.
I like your way of modeling.
:bounce:
Ila_solomon,
Great concepts and hysterical 3d.
The blood on the cow’s body and massive hemorrhage in it’s eyes makes it easy to feel the pain.
Maybe goofier without the blood, but definately more . . . uh . . . evocative with it.
Cartoons aren’t always adorable anyway. This, then, is a humorous horror – a very rare and difficult blend, which you’ve chewed up and spit out.
Awesome work.
Ha, thats some funny stuff!! Poor cow =(
Nice work sir and well excecuted. Truly nothing else like it in the comp.
I salute you.
Your style is simple AMAZING!!! Modeling and textures are perfect too!! Congratulations!!!
Ila,
where are you man??? As I told you before, your work and style are amazing! I have just two suggestions if you don’t mind. I think the dog has too strong legs. Thiner legs will fit better in this character IMO. I understand about the need of blood in the cow, but you really don’t need this. Your work is absolutely amazing and this blood is a bit “over”. Your style have so GREAT humor sense and the blood don’t fit in your character IMO. Just two little things, but I repeat IMO
You ROCK dude!!! :buttrock:
Keep it up!
Kris
