Well, since they are supporting actors (and actresses!) I do not waste much time on texturing them.

I dont have to work though, only you

Everything is perfect! After the texture work and a great render (you are a master), this work will :buttrock: even more!
Cheers my friend
Kris
well, some fella(h)s prefer more detaild texturing, here is a little more detaild texture for the stupid sheep!
Well…About the last thing I would call you would be lazy (Just a joke I know)…With the amount of work and details you have created here…This is purely a taste issue, but I would go for a more in-depth texture pallete…very worn old and crusty rust textures…But knowing you are going for a more toonish effect and style here you probably have made the right choice…In fact the look and tone of colors are effective in a good way…![]()
I don 't know Ila but have you thought just for fun and an experimant to give the Sheep a shag Fur attempt?Possibly this could be very interesting? But then again it could throw the whole theme off a bit?Maybe you could consider this? At least for a fun run.................Either way I applaud your efforts and your execution............I see talented toon type creations here..............
[Mikael]: I have to keep the balance between the toon and photorealism, as I wanted to achive a 'Stop-motion’ish vision.
and about the sheep shag:fur stuff, If i find some time, I do. thanx for the comments.
[Reza]: C’mon, I did nothing yet.
[Aj]: you are the third guy who wanted to kiss one of my fellow farm inhabitants.
hihihi! something is wrong with cgtalkers or these animals!
I like the look of you’re characters. They seem to me like they could be from a BLue Sky movie, like the ones from Ice Age.
you did nothing?i knew that, that’s why i did one  ,i’m saving the other  es for the final image:beer: ![]()
just a quick 1 hour texturing, but always unwraping is pain in deep arse and takes a few hours to do.
Wanna see all textures till now? here they are. remember they are quick and for secondary characters.
:applause:
That cow/production facility is just superb idea. And your work is absolutely great!
really nice work on textures!, your design is looking awesome all the characters youre doing are totally great, this entry is full of style, and is very original … you deserve:thumbsup:

Awesome I like those a lot !
great style and texturing.
And if you have time please explain how this plane projection or how it`s called (donkey and sheep) works ? ( i know how to place it and etc) But how it projects at botom and on top and on the other side ? And how do you know whether to use “donkey projection” or unwrap ?
Big Thanks
gpepper, rattlesnake, peksi, R.Vor, thanl a lot!
I didn’t understand you R.Vor very well, but let me explain what I do.
these are combine texture sheet, I use them seperately.
for unwraping, I take the mesh, study the edgeloops and find the best place for cutting the mesh into a few piece. like in donkey, I seperated ears and cut the inner part of the legs and unwrap them, in UV editor ofcourse. ( I use max), for Toad it was a harder work, I have to unwrap and unfold many polies twisted into eachother.
for sheep’s legs i didn’t unwrap or unfold, just use planer for both body and legs. I just extracted the ear and use a planer for that too.
now I take an snapshot of these modified polies from UV Editor and send it to PS, paint over wireframes there, then send back to 3ds material and check the texture, tweak, tweak and tweak!
in unwraping, having some Topology knowledge will help so much. like the charactristics of some objects, like spheres, bottles and donuts, tearing and stretching elastic forms and etc.
