The Story of A.D.A.M.

I misplaced the original rendition of the story I wrote. It was a detail one that helped me with the character development. In this case this case the character created the story and the story define the meaning of the character.

A.D.A.M. (whose real name is Gabriel Saint Tanernackle), was created by an well known eccentric bio-mechanical engineer Dr. Saraphon Tanernackle to be a savior to the world from a creature humanity has awaken, a creature dubbed Mother Nature.
Humanity has evolved where it can manipulate it’s lifespan to some degree and alter its adaptability. Humanity has dominated everything on earth and has expanded itself to the neighboring planets in nearby galaxies. A species dominated by power and greed, humanity has become a living virus to the world.
A world where there is technology to heal almost all viruses, diseases, and poverty. These privileges are only left in the hands of the powerful and the financially potent.
Humanity now control evolution of all things; to the highest bidder with the right amount, a longer lifespan can be yours, you can sprout wings, be taller, have gills, etc. You want your pet Fido to be part poodle and part parrot? If you have the bank account it can be yours. Through the mastery of D.N.A. manipulation almost anything can be done. Big Corporations have made trillions selling this to the vainest of humanity’s financially elite. All this advancement, yet the poor suffer, pollutions, racism, poverty, and disease dominate the earth and where everywhere that humanity plans to plant itself.
A few of the world’s top scientist have observed a new phenomenon. They called the presses to announce their discoveries. It is believe that Mother Nature has waged a genetic worldwide war on the disease known as humanity. It is believe that our resilience as a species was miscalculated by nature. Due to our interference with the natural patterns of life, we have upset some undocumented balance of life. The strange new diseases that have spawned in the past few decades are signs that Mother Nature was trying to re-correct this upset. Diseases that stem from a genetic level, deforming the sick, moving fast as if it was a beast enveloping its victim. The scientist have come to realize that Mother Nature is trying to evolve humanity out of existence at such an alarming rate that even our super technologies are starting to be little help. These diseases do not discriminate, all of humanity is susceptible. No amount of power or currency will aid us, but even as the signs of the end become clear, humanity’s elite still remain delusional, blinded by there protected lifestyles. They are willing to pay for anything to save themselves and their status. Naturally big corporation see this opportunity to become more powerful and are will to sell anything, even lies of salvation.
Mother Nature has also start to manipulate other things such as fauna, and flora, making them her living soldiers to kill of the infectious disease; humanity. Although the very wealthy and powerful have various means to protect themselves, by caging themselves the elaborate metropolic like exhibits, there means of food, and material resources have become scarce, since mostly all things natural have become our enemy. We have to travel outside of our galaxy to pillage resources to sate our needs. Resource not yet tainted by Mother Natures furious wrath.
A well known eccentric bio-mechanical engineer Dr. Saraphon Tanernackle, saw this as an opportunity to correct humanity’s mistake; Messing with Mother Nature’s natural order of life. He claimed to have the end all solution to the problem. He has been developing a savior/ warrior to be our super man, our Jesus; A creature to be humanity’s formable warrior. He contacted various press organizations, and the aid of the elite to get funding for his project and project call A.D.A.M, An Angel Design to Aid Mankind. He called on scientists of various specialties of aid him. The project was set to last for 7 years, from concept to outcome. He was flooded with money and aid of any kind and went on to develop his ultimate project.
He became a wealthy and famed man, but during the course of the project, there were rumors of a diabolical unannounced anarchic objective. Some of the scientist working for Dr. Tanernackle leaked out to the press that they’ve seen evidences of schizophrenia and madness; that they heard him refer to humanity as a disease. Some believe that A.D.A.M. actually means Angel to Destroy All of Mankind. A few go even further to say that Dr.Saraphon Tanernackle is actually natures version of Satan, but the rumors were brushed of as some insane idea of a few unknown scientist means to become famous and wealthy.
The A.D.A.M. project was started on the year of 2440 and was finished on April 12, 2447; Just as Dr. Tannernackle promised. During the course of the 7 years, the Dr. was infected by a mutating disease that was irreversible. He lived long enough to see A.D.A.M.s unveiling to the world.
Adam was beautiful humanoid savoir, standing 6’8 inched tall, with a thin muscular biomechanical. He was self automated, intelligent, strong, and compassionate. He also seems indestructible; our winged warrior. The ultimate definition to how far human technology has come. His activation was put in affect in public with a simple word utter by the dying Dr. Tanernackle. That word was “Salvation”. It felt that the entire galaxy was silent for that brief moment as all nations looked on as A.D.A.M. breathe his first breath, and his eyes opened, revealing an icy blue matrix. He took flight and addresses to the world “I will save you all”. He then started displaying vast amount of power has he waged a one man war against Mother Nature.
A.D.A.M. visited his creator he calls father all the time, but being too far along in the disease A.D.A.M could not help Dr. Tanernackle. On his deathbed, with a few aids by his side Dr. Tanernackle called for A.D.A.M for one last time. A.D.A.M quickly flew to its father’s side. The Dr asked all to leave the room for his final moments with his son. All obliged, but one of the scientist who had forgotten something went back into the room and was witness to the horrid truth of A.D.A.M’s real objective. He over heard the Doctor telling A.D.A.M “Revelation through Retribution”. “Kill the disease know as mankind, make things right, end mankind”. Dr. Tanernackle died soon after, and the scientist, barely escaped being spotted by A.D.A.M who then soon after started carrying out his diabolical objective, to the dying cries of humanity

Epilogue:
The small few of scientist, who was aware of the Doctors real objective, were working on the abandon project call E.V.E. and are trying to get her finish before A.D.A.M finishes his final plans.
E.V.E. stands for Evolution Versus Extinction.
Retribution is A.D.A.M’s sword. He uses it to channel his immense power

Still figuring this part out. New to posting anything or entering any contest. Still looking for reference. I will start builing the head today on Easter.

Hey found your thread. You could make a book about this stuff. The story is really deep, I like it. :beer:

After checking out this idea and alot of the others looks like this will be a nifty challenge.

It was wierd, I was thinking more of an over the top type story. The story hit me, then I pulled the Character out of it.

I will pose the beginnings soon. Building the head today. Already drew the templates.

I’m very slow, But I plan to see this through.
I’m also new to 3d modeling. I keep worry about topology. Any here we go.

The body will be easier and faster. It’s his wings I’m worried about, but setting you goals high is a good thing. The only way to get better is to push the limits of what you think you can do.

Nice form, very straightforward geometry. I like the look of the head. For the hair are you going to use a hair plugin or are you planning on making geometry?

These drawings are not mine. I typed in pictures of wing, or wing anatomy in google and I got this chicken wing. It’s strickly for reference.
It’s not Kentucky, but it’ll have to do.
My angel will fly.

I will model the Feathers (hair). Since I don’t know how to use hair plug-ins yet.

chickens cannot fly …bad example to use .
-what you need are the largest wings scaled for one of the largest birds, the condor ,more of a soaring/glider but really would fit on a human frame if scaled up…
-nice drawingS…also net/check angels or cherubs on old master art…very nice wings there i think.
if you look at raptors and high/long divers wings they have that
pronounced strong front hook/ swoop that you see in most angel pics…
…the face model looks well done .

Thank you CLONEOPS for your comments and advise.
The chicken wing was just to give me an idea. I’m thinking more eagle or albaross, sea gull, or something like that, but I couldn’t find good references. Adam’s wings will be symbolic and more take hints from the references, not be a true duplicate. The wings will be thinner and have a fairly huge wingspan.
