Thank you very much chaps=)
It’s getting closer to deadline time and I’m madly trying to think of something special for the scene. I was thinking of something shiney, something metal, something clean for the environment, but maybe I should go for something more dirty and grungey, like a racetrack through the city slums.
Anyway, heres a test render touched up in PS with some colours. Let me know what you think.
i just love the way it looks now… the floor is amazing man… your work is getting incredible now! the golden arrows in the floor are great… very creative man!
Very good man… the material of the arrows is original… certainly a good idea with some reflections of your model ![]()
Heya man!
Nice work here and so many game style!!! I love the reflections on the floor, besides the great model
The final scene is very promising. Keep it up!
Kris
Hey man …why don’t u put glass roof on your race track … by this u could make it more interesting by gaining from all those reflections / refractions…just a thought!
:bounce:
Cool - your concept works absolutely fine… waiting for the final scene, but I think (as i mentioned before) this is a “must be” for a 3d book…yeaahh keep it up:beer:
Abs great concept vehicle!!! I love
that stuff and yours looks very well done!!!
Excellant!!!

that looks like a dream. You’d better stop it before my heart explodes. this is too much for me to take.
Thats truly amazing man, if you don’t place highly in this challenge i dunno whats happening. I love the theme your putting it in… i used to play that game it was crazy…
hope there is some tricky motion blur added into the scene
hehe i gotta do it
aussie aussie aussie
Gary…I think if you think too much or go for too big a final environment you will spread yourself too thin with the current timeline for the challenge…I think go for something of a tight shot, getting in close and personal to your main creation, and having something detailed and tight in the background, just a glimpse of the track, and bG…Perhaps after the challenge you can go for a more expanded version???
Either case good luck, you are very close now..........One fine piece of work in all aspects............You done good gary.
:buttrock:
Hi everyone!! Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and opinions on my work. It can be incredibly helpful after you’ve been staring at something like this for so long.
rattlesnake: I was sort of going for a slicked wety paint look, but yeah they turned out to look gold… doh Still messing around with the textures though…
Lemog: Thank you sir. You are the master of the macarbe!
Antropus: Thanks, yes a lot of people have commented on the game style… Glad you like it =)
DimitrisLiatsos: Glass roof could be a good idea… I will think about it and do some experiments.
Saschi0815: Thank you, such high praise. It’s a shame thye arn’t releasing a mini-book with all the entries from this comp!
EmpY: Thanks mate… I really love your entry too … great inspiration and the eggs are cool ![]()
dagoof: Thanks for your continued support on this one mate!
harnelbe: Yeah, its my favourite so far too. I really need to match that in the final piece or its all for naught…
Mathiu: Who knows who will place where… there are so many excellent entries that I’m honestly not expecting to place. If I do then it would be nice but I’m not thinking about it. Thanks for your confidence though =)
Virtuoso: Thanks Michael. I hear you loud and clear. I’m struggling between choosing a major showpiece shot that focuses on the bike, or a more detatched shot that places the final image as greater importance. Hopefully I can have both and focus on the bike details aswell as capture the sensation of speed and motion that I was hoping to.
Yeah, its getting close, hopefully I will have time to do a good job on whatever path I go down.
Thanks all… and keep on truckin’

WOW definitly:thumbsup: I really like the background like that man. GReat work man keep going :wavey:
Heres a quick update before the weekend. Still jacking around with the environment. Not the final lighting, but I like the angle of the camera and the track surface is coming along. Buildings in the background arn’t final either. Comments welcome =)
Have a good weekend peoples…
i have no crits… this is an admirable work on textures and lights… just can say:drool: great work…
have a nice weekend too man!
I like a lot this camera angle…
The surface look good… but one thing disturb me…
The stripes on the track are very well, but here’s crossing, the majority of between them should be in the axis of the track, caused by the passage of the various machines, no ?
Anyway… good weekend dude :wavey:
The surface is looking great, all the glow in the scene seems to fit nice . No crits at the moment.![]()
Hi Ionized,
You have great results!!! Both of the scenes are promising allthough i think the previous one with the reflections was better…
The charatcer and the machine part are in a complete pack…well designed. Congrats to you!!!
