#22

This is very nice modeling Cygnus_X…Clean.Nice concept to work from as well.keep up the nice work,it’s coming along well.

hi cygnus_x
these are very nice renderings so far.

and your concept is also kind of fresh, since it is not human but alienlike.
the standart alien look is a solid footing for a good machineflesh character.
also it got a good “story” around it.

but as always i wantto mention, to please make some environment for the creature also. since the environment for this particular creature could be made very nice.
perhaops another planet, with much of rocks and small stones or something.

#25

nice work

#26

Amazing detail at this stage. Nice modeling. I like all those cable work around the body and back. Great detailing on it.

…a friend of mines sitting here with me commented it reminded him of Episode 2 characters that made the Jengo Fett clones. (I don’t know if that was an influence in the design)…

overall looking awesome… keep it up!

:buttrock:

#27

Modeling again:) Starting the alien face.

#28

@eRaDiCaT0r Thanks for the comments. Sure every movie with the typical tall and thin alien was a part of the influence. I think this typical alien concept came from the logical fallowing of humans evolution, I like this “theory” a lot so I decided to make my own version of those mystic aliens

#29

Modeling modeling modeling  my next step will be to fit this head with the mechanical chest… Any comments are welcome

#30

yess !!!
i like a lot the expression of your character .

#31

Sorry, no critics yet… Groovy:beer:
Just lovely details…

salute:beer:

#32

hi eric, i like your modeling very much. and since i’m not so into character modeling, i cannot give you much advice.
the only thing i would do in an other way is the nose…
what do you think about a more traditional alien nose?

i modeled a quick one here:

(well its just very quick, don’t hurt me! )

i think you know what i mean?
just a suggestion…

@sascha henrichs Hi Sascha! Thanks for your advice, you made me think a lot

At first I wanted a humain look, like if those typical alien were fallowing the same evolution path as us but maybe 10 000 years further. So I tried to keep a very close look to humain. Now I am trying the other version and I think that make sens too, I did a little mix between those. Il’l update it as soon as I can.

#34

Nose test.

#35

The first one the first one !!
Keep the first one, perhaps a little bit smashed.

#36

wow… cygnus_X… you work is looking sweet… you have a really clean modelling style… you’re head is looking really good. i especially like the folds of skin around the eye lids cool alien nose aswell…keep up the rockin work man…

#37

Wow, Amazing style! Like your character a lot and the machine parts too!!

#38

hmm cygnus…

very nice, that you tested it on your model.
but in the end i would stay with your original nose.
i think it fits more into the very characteristcal face of your alien

could also be, that the smaller nose needs some more tweaking to look good…perhaps make it some more bigger or bit more widespread…
very interesting indeed.

btw. this is really my favourite entry, no joke! because of your very accurate modeling and your clear-cut concept

you got your 1st fan

ok cu

@ harnelbe - Thanks a lot for your support  Yes I think I’m gonna go with the number one.

@ ParadiseFlyBird, mosconariz - Thanks for your nice comments guys  I am really happy that you like it.

@ sascha henrichs - Thank you so much  I greatly appreciate that you are fallowing my project, I will try to not disapoint you. I think I will push further the number 1 nose. That was a good advice.

Everyone Keep up your good work,
