Amazing job…he seems so at home in the enviroment. also having multiple of them it allows you to show the other parts that arn’t shown by the front guy (legs)
but try and make then unique…unless you’re trying to show like a production thing…idunno. yeh i think though that the red light kinda draws away from the picture…especially the strong light that is pointed straight forward. but other than that i am blown away by your level of talent…KEEP IT UP!

Crits : Maybe you could add a small light reflection in his eyes.
I’m not sure about the fractal patterns in the background, because it distracts from the main character in the foreground.

Looking great to finally see these two elements combined together!
Great modelling and texturing, although I think a slightly darker or moody render might suit these greys some more. You have some really nice lighting coming from the alsoves in the wall, perhaps you could accentuate this also with some ambient light coming from the screen high in the cieling.
I also think it would look cool if the alien closest to the camera is staring straight out at the viewer kind of saying… ‘what are you doing here intruder…?’
They look really evil and malevolent… I love it =)

An other completly different environement. It’s not finish yet I think I will have to hurry up hehehe I will add some details on the forground part of the city and some light texture.

- detailing the city
- texture lower leg " protector"
- different texture for the arm and legs because now it’s “symetrical”
- Rig them
- made them in pose
- tweak lighting an final gathering
- tweak camera focus
- tweak deph fading and glow effect
- Final tweaking

Sorry at the moment am drunk…After five beers and a huge pizza my opinion is under strange kind of control…keep this in mind while you’re reading my post…
I 'm honest: i don’t think there is too much difference between the two backrounds. I mean their quality are well and enough for your characters. allthough the second version is better with the clean overview but i prefer the first one for the light setup. that full face position of their heads are disturbing me…just a bit…not too much but previous versions which were showed during modeling are better for me… i know these are hard days Eric…and you have to find your own decision. I’m sure that will be the best choice!!! :buttrock: For the other one…maybe the character on the foreground could be smaller…just to see his hands and thighs. Nothing else…repeat again am not too clear at the moment…but i prefer your previous versions for the scene.
BTW: contgrats for the bumps on hands an elbows.

I think I prefer this one to your last environment man. It looks very in line with the clean shaders on the chest plate. ALthough with something like this, I think you have to put it in context. Its almost like the kind of shot you would see in something like minority report where there is a whole city of people going around their day to day busines.
Um… not sure what I’m saying… I think that if you are going to go for a shot like this, then perhaps you need to add more urban details so that the city does not look empty. Perhaps some hovercars, power conduits, trash bins and ofcourse more aliens. You could render out maybe five or six dudes in different poses and place them around in your final comp to speed up rendering.
Anyway, just some thoughts… great work man… see you at the finish line:thumbsup:
Yes I agree with this…The open space has the right feel.I felt that the other was fine as well,but from way back if you recall I mentioned something of this nature would be best for this creation…Looking very nice Eric,you are at the finishline it appears,and with some very nice results,one of the fav’s for sure…:buttrock:
