I think your background is very good, but, somehow it gives me the impression that your character is much more evolve than the place where he is, maybe, and this is oly an idea, you could āblendā the two, in a way that we could sense that he is home!

I think the red light is not your best choice here that is too warm to this scene and it flips the perspective a bit becouse itās too strong for a backround. Of course itās your taste and your decisionā¦maybe if you keep that an other coloured lightsource could be fine in the frontal area of the envvironment just for keep the balanceā¦:rolleyes:

I like the enviroment, it is great and it would be fantastic for an animation shot, but, for a highres still Iām not so sure! Your previous GI tests where the Alien is in whiteish/blueish āroomā
looked great and brought the character to focus. I know he is
very tall and thus dificult to layout in composition. Iām just
thinking you could try a few more layouts before choosing
a definite one. Just my thoughts friend!

Nice update Cygnus , this guy looks great against the background . IMO you can move the camera down , just a little bit . He will look more imponent. Im not sure about the red light but is up to you bud
