This sketch came from the idea that space travel should be extremly long, so that race created a self sufficient suit. No need to return home to get some fuel, air or food everything is converted inside the suit itself.

Those “explorer” give there entire lives to push further there knowledge of the universe.

#3

Good sketch I wonder to see next milestones.

Good luck

My first wip of the alien chest, showing two air tubes conected to is lungs and one blood tube comming from the artificial heart. The lower one will let appear the red blood in transparency.

A MA ZING !
Fast Modeling !
I love the concept, and I am in a hurry to see the fluids inside the tubes.
Which software are you using ?

#6

FAst and good looking. I like the tube connectors and the shape of the torso.
Tubes are very vunerable, don’t you think…

#7

Good modling

I love the consept, keep up the good work.

Thanks for your comments everyone.

Tubes are very vunerable, don’t you think…

yes I have thought about that and those tubes are made to resist extreme pressure they will be very thik and made of a strong “alien matrerial” In fac this suit is made for explorers like our astronauts. It’s more a “living suit” than a warrior armor.

There is also some “blood stopper” in the tube so if he got an arm or a leg cut (for whatever reson) he can stop the blood flow to go that way.
But overall the composite material of the tube, made them a lot of time stronger than humain veins and flesh.

I hope I made a good explaination, my english is not so good.

C&C are always welcome

The Model and the concept are very cool. I have Just a small critic.
the Head… reminds me too much that George Lucas thingy…
it seems not to fit to the model, besides, the rest is very well thought, and ur 3d skills seem able to bring all your ideas to reality, so hmmm, what do u think?
To solve that problem with

Tubes are very vunerable, don’t you think…
you could make some armor around, that is able to open, to show his “inner life funtions” anyways.
Well, keep on rockin’ this looks great!:buttrock:

#10

The lower Blood tubes has been haded on this wip.

#11

A big yeahh to you. :buttrock:

Looks a bit like the white aliens in StarWars Episode II on the stormy waterplanet. I’m very impressed by your detailled modelling.
Hope to see more of you soon:applause:

#16

:bounce: Ok Cygnus, no problems for the
delay:)
Thanks for your answer
I like a lot the glows you put!!!

lol it’s very funny !
Your Modeling is A MA ZING !

#17

I add connectors to the “artificial heart”

#18

I may add some little modeling details on those parts further but now I think I am gonna go for the head and the reste of the body

#19

Looks really cool.

Hope you dont mind me asking a question How did you get that high polished plastic look on the exoskeleton. Is it just raytraced with a high gloss and high reflection?

Anyway looks really cool!

#20

@SigFire thanks for your comment, for the plastic effect I just use a phong shader with some reflection, there is no glossy and no texture yet. The render was made with final gathering.
