Machineflesh 3D Challenge Entry: Dave Ruthe

#1

Dave Ruthe has entered the Machineflesh 3D Challenge.

#2

This is my first idea for the Machine Flesh contest. I will post more updates soon.

#3

Nice concept! Can’t wait to see some modeling soon! Good luck!

#4

These are some images of the head. It has just begun, so there is alot of work to do. Just thought I’d post some images.

#5

The Eyelids are pulled out on purpose.

#6

I’ve revisited the idea for the face. This is what I’ve come up with so far. His face is going to be held on to his head with the claws that are currently floating in space as placeholders.

Whaoo!!!
Very nice and original concept !!!
I like the Mystic spirit you have put into !
Very impressive modeling skills !
the face of your guy remember me the faces of Meserschmit (not sur of the correct letters…) sculptor artist.

#10

I reworked the head concept because it didn’t really fit the body or the idea of the character.

The skull harness is still a W.I.P. It’s just the general idea.

The face flesh still needs alot of tweaking. Particularly around the eyes.

Also the bolts that hold the flesh onto the bone have not been modeled yet.

Let me know what you think. Please critique.

#11

#15

This is the begining of the torso. The skin is wrapped around and hanging from a robotic/humanoid frame. The mechanical spine is going to come up from the opening in his lower back and attach to the skull.

I still have lots to do. Please critique.

This is some more work on the torso.

The outside of the torso is pretty much complete. The arms are in place and ready for muscle and wire attachments.
