the science project 2020

A little pimply teen scientist in his Lab is making alterations to his pet. An empty box which reads “Home robotics” lies open on the table. His hand has been previously altered. The mood is dark and eary but contrasted with typical fun teen stuff around - like posters and toys. One note with the heading science project is pinned up on the wall or on the table. I want the viewer to look around my picture and discover things about the boy and what he is doing. It will be very obvious why he is doing this and what could happen :wink:

I am loosely basing this on a Norman Rockwell-esque painting… kind of Americano mixed with future - even though nowadays who knows what kids can do - some 12 year olds are better at 3D than some thirtysomethings- :wink:

I want it to have a slight toon feel, not photo-real or completely toon - an amalgam of both.

Okay enough drivvle, let me start sketching.

He is a Kid-Frankenstein with previous experiments in containers behind him. …
