What you talkin aboot Willis? Come on Dude get some pens to paper n get some Ideas posted⦠and maybe I am serious maybe I am not⦠and maybe its a selfportrait!!! I did have another idea last night after my nightcap but it turned out to be rubbish upon review in the morrowā¦
Hummm⦠It was meant to be a joke at first but i kinda ran with the idea⦠and lookin at all the sci fi i wanted to do somat different just for laughsā¦
I like this type of funny concepts!

I like the silly, as well. I need to know more, tho. What are the battery worms and why do they have to jumpstart each other?
Just a quick render to check out how heās lookin from the angle i will be needing⦠Lots of work and improvements to comeā¦
Very good so far! This is definantly going to have the beauty of a PIXAR film scene.
Canāt to see more.
Simple and efficient, wich is all a great image needs.
Iām going to follow your thread, your worm have so much personality !
Keep it up !
I really like the clean and cute look of this image, itās a brave change from the dark and very complex detailed look that most others are going for.
One crit I would have though is that it currently seems like a sort of editorial picture accompanying an article in a magazine. I think the picture may need some sort of story, purpose, reason or twist to enable the image to be able to stand alone as an artwork.
From what youāve said in your posts Iām probably jumping the gun as it seems like youāre going to put him in a farm like a battery hen which will make it more of an artwork and less of an illustration.
Anyway, I hope you get what I mean, either way heās a great little character and I look forward to seeing more.
Hi nitroSqueel.
Thanks for the comments, I am interested in your concepts of an āIllustrationā and āArtwork?ā⦠If you could expand on what you may have meanāt that would be great⦠and if anyone else can shed light on the concepts of Illustration/Artworks/Pictures/Drawings/Visualisation and what should qualify for either i think we could have a classic debate ultimately ending in a quibble over semantics⦠Which always makes a good thread:D
Thanks for the happiness:bounce:
something whatās not in āhorror styleā.
cute thing.
nice work, i like the style cool!! some background story would help tho,
good luck for the comp!

I think youāre probably right and itās best not to go there!
Hows about this though: It possibly looks more like a frame from an animation than a stand alone still. A stand alone still (an artwork) tells a story in itself, whereas a frame from an animation may stand alone aesthetically but it ultimatley needs the rest of the film to have a purpose.
Your character looks really cool but it might be even cooler with a back-story drawn into the image around him.
( btw Iām personally in the illustraton rather than art camp when it comes to my own stuff)
