Tremoside… I’m still kickin, I know that I have not been posting as often as I would like, but I had to take on a full time labor job just to make ends meet. Work for 3D artist is scarce where I live.
So I will put in as much time as I can, and post as often as I can so just please bare with me.
pixplayer… “Vertex by Vertex” Not at all, what I did was make a simple full rig with Ik, and skinned the model made some small changes to the vertex weights where deformations were extreme, like the neck, and arm pits so on. I then posed the character. After posing the charater the way I liked it I then removed the rig and saved it for the next character, and so on.
Small vertex adjustments had to be made here and there.
Ivars… Good call, but if I remember Return to OZ correctly the characters had four wheels one on each leg and arm, plus they were elevaded by stilts, and they had there costume covering them from head to wheel. Anyway thanks for the comment.
