Machineflesh 3D Challenge Entry: Albert Feliu

#21

the 2 images of the top are the ones that he will have more or less…

the others are just funny positions as I spent sometime making a fast rig hehe.

Bye!

#22

hi! I managed the wrinkles of the abdomen, added a cigarrete and merged the hands with the arms.

Hope you like my progress, add some feedback please, I don’t know If I’m doing the right way

hi albert

looks really good so far … but in the closeup the pinky looks strange somehow … especially in the bottom left pic.
but in the final pose you can’t recognize it anyway.
the body looks also good!

cheers chris

#24

hi chrischan!

thanks for your comment, but, as you said, in the final pose there’s no bug on the mesh…the others were just quick tests…I won’t work a lot anything useless u know…

Bye

#25

hiii!

I’ve modelled a leather sofa for our guy, he will be called “wagoner” from now on hehehe, I don’t say it for the people who drive wagons, It comes from the expression “Fumar como un carretero” of my country (smoke like a wagoner or something similar) and it has always make me smile.

Well, the Table and the ashtray are temporal, just to test.

I’m waiting for your crits of our Wagoner!

bye!

?‘ve been workin’ on the mobile this morning.

I see that my challenge doesn’t have much expectation. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not good modelling my idea, or maybe because the idea isn’t much original…or maybe i’m not a celebrity…but I hope you like the machinery of the lungs when I add it…and the other things.

thanks

#27

I accept any replies

Waiting for your comments and suggestions!!!:bounce:

thanks in advance

#28

this is my first time i visit this thread, impressive Albert, model is just more than great and the idea is brilliant, keep up,

how long has he been on this pose?

#29

thanks man!!!

nobody has never told me so kind words in cgtalk  (unless some friend of mine which I personally paid (joke))

Well, he has been…mmhh, he left the work at midday, and he doesn’t need to eat, so he swallows a feeding pill, and spends his 1 or 2 free hours smoking, and as everyone who is sat on a sofa…he changes his position to speak with somebody or to relax another muscles…etc. :hmm:

waiting for more comments

Very nice modelling and intresting concept!
The only crits I have so far is that I think you should make the creases on his stomach a little bigger, I think they look to tight, almost as if there wasn’t enough skin on his body. And maybe, the thing on his hand is a little to big in my opinion.
Great work man! Keep it up!

#31

Yesss!!
Keep it up !
Very cool concept and clean modeling,
the only remarks like said by
say so long

i could say for the moment is the way you
have put the pad on his left hand, it
seems streched and not very ergonomic,
perhaps you should reduce his size
smaller.
Like said a friend watching at your guy
it seems that there is something strange about his left shoulder… i don’t know why
but it seems that the skin should be compressed rather rather than streched
at between the arm and the shoulder.
By the way, interesting C.G. !

I am loving the execution here. congratulations man.
the idea is great as well.

gonna keep both eyes on this from now on:)

cheers

wooooaaah

Say so Long: Probably I’ll make something with the creases, but I wait until I’ve put the IAL machinery to see what I erase and what not. The main purpose of making the body was learning some more anatomy, but, in case the creases are still there when the IAL appears, I’ll fix them, sure!! About the pad, it was not still finished, but sorry, I like the size. There’s a big lack of connections also…let’s see the progress, maybe you like it more! My idea is to have that hand almost mechanical. Thanks man.

harnelbe: I tried to make the guy’s shoulder similar to this one.

If you still think it’s bad, don’t worry and tell it to me. But I think it’s quite similar. Thanks. Great challenge you’re doing.

loganarts: thanks man! I’ve looked your website and what can I tell…that’s amazing. I like to have a man with those texturing skills telling me what’s right and what’s wrong.

Thanks to all, tomorrow MORE! :bounce:

#34

hi! I’ve made a weird container for the IAL machinery

I tried to make it weird, but at the same time…elaborated…

I wait for all your crits!!!

thanks people!!!

bit of a chain smoker he is. great execution on modeling. love the mobile under skin. only one thing though…are you planning to add to the chest???(Lights and glowing elements)

Keep going mate:thumbsup:

#36

thanks

Yeah of course, this is the container of the Individual artifical lung, as I said on the other post. Don’t worry, You’ll have machinery to stop a train.

bye!

#37

hey guys! another update!!!

I’m not motivated, which lung do you like the most?

bye!

#38

Hi!
I like more the one on the left, because I think it’s more real than the other one.
Can you do renders with the guy with the 2 lungs?

#39

hi Lara,
here you have the renders you wanted, the second one is with default ilumination, because my temporal 3 point lighting didn’t let me see a thing inside the chest.

The first one has a breastbone, and some metallic ribs, but I erased it on the second one…I don’t like it, and the metallic estructure of the chest (metallic cables) already holds that zone.
