These are looking good… i much prefer these to the original dog idea.
There’s some lovely detail and shading in theses images… i’ll be interested to see how they translate into colour. Do you plan on working over these drawings? Or will you start afresh on the colour versions?

Hi!!!
Test color…I’m thinking to stay away from Blue,Gray,Green Palette for awhile. Wraith is right…Stylized… bright… earth colors is perfect.

Added some weight to the color,shadow specially. Laying some lights/fx, a sort of sun beam that wraps the creature’s body.

My 2 posted line art which include my final work for Line Art milestone category are missing. Also, 2 pages of my thread are missing as well and my posting count dropped to 29.

Your work is awesome! the details are excellent, I wonder if you will paint over the drawing at some point of your wip or just with a layer… 
I hope the final image ends up with all the detail work 'cause it’s great!:bounce:

well man color is givin it a reall cool look… u might put a blur landscape to give da picture more dept… i really liked it…did u use photshop or painter…and what kinda brushes usually u preffer? i’m kinda new to that colorin thing… i like pencilin very much…check my work if u like to.

I visited the thread of BloodTaster. I found out that CGTalk was attacked by hackers.
Some posts that made ten days ago, are pressumed gone.
Sad to say, i’m one of the victim.
Let’s pray that they won’t strike back on the remaining days of the contest.

Awesome concpets bud, love ya work, just wanted to give some quick feedback, the colour looks great the creature is almost chameleon like in how it seems to belnd in with the tree if thats what youre aiming for, even still though i would try adding a little highlight to the head area as you seem to loose some of the nice details of the creature. Its just that it looks a little dark, those initail line drawings had some nice looking features and you seem to have lost them a little. Dont know, it was just a thought. In any case i love your work, youve got a great ability for the creature design side of things.:bowdown:
Keep it up, cant wait to see what you do next.
