Hey I really like this design!
I feel its got a very dramatic feel to it due to the composition. In this design its much more evident as to what its design purpose is.
I’m lookin forward to your further work and I would recommend this design idea for your final image, but thats just my opinion.

It’s quite along time that i haven’t post an update of my entry. Been out of the radar lately. :)))
I seen two “Dog” related concept that thrown in. 
So, i decided to create another concept, i come up with an organic creature and named it “SAPAT”.
Again, i like to hear everybody’s comment.

Here’s my follow up sketch of my entry. I placed a bit tighter outline on the spinal and on the rib cage.
I’m planning to put my creature a “Root” like skin/texture… We’ll see what will happen next.:)))
congrats with your very nice rendered drawings, just the way I like them: sketchy but straight ahead and lots of detail…reminds me of other great artists I know…
I like your concept as well, altough I find you should think about the functionalities a little bit more. who am I to judge you?

Second Phase of my line art:
Time to show my creature’s limb… I created a human like upper leg and laying a same skin/texture, so that it will jive with the upper body.
I’m pinning my idea of the lower leg, an ostrich leg and a monkey feet with a toe/claw of a cat. The detailed drawing of which is next.

Oh I liked your dog… Well that’s your choice. I think personnally that there is a problem between the realistic musclesand machinery, and the cartoony face, It’s kind of disturbing for me…
Good work! I like the second idea better, and nice rendering the muscle part! I love that a lot!! (however, I think you have the ability to create something more impressive than that! DEFINITELY!!) Well, I guess u and me are both in the middle of the development… 
Therefore, I am also gonna say it to myself as well, “I can do better!!” Haha!! And I will be glad that u can give me some words as well! Once again, good job!!
