Getting closer to finish the rough coloring of the main characters…

Thanks everyone… I finally get to the stage to finish the rough coloring on Humpty and the Madhatter.
Next Stage after this will be refining, highlightning and the first sketches for the background.
And sorry for the blur, bout the compression kills the image…
Next I will show closeups again.

one of the greatest idea so far !

I love the characters, very twisted.

But I think that you’re loosing lot’s of details with your coloring, which is very “black burned” perhaps if you add more light source, perhaps a green one coming from the left you could add light and details to your color

Thank u very much and as I mentioned in a reply abough: The Highlits and other lightsources(Special FX) come in another layer after refining the rough color. Now there is just a subtle lightsource to give it a feeling of depth:beer:

really loved seeing this design from the start.

The colour is really starting to look nice, dark and sinister, don’t think you should over do the high lights though as it could loose that, but i have a feeling you know that better than me, nice.

With one word… amaizing! The ambient is perfect even now, dark colors, nice and original details (teapot, valves, the 666 card…), style rocks,… Really cant wait to see the finished version. This piece is definitely going to my privat collection on hard disk. :buttrock:
