I think thats pretty cool. Having men carry the babies.
But heres the way the story goes. Everyone died. The
setting is 2 centuries after the the 3rd holocaust. These
carriers were activated when all the effects of the
weapons wore out. Each one carried hundreds of fertilized
eggs. The story originally revolves around the first born
of one mommy C.O.W… About a little girl’s discoveries,
and how she dealt with having an artificial parent.

But then again keep those ideas coming in! I appreciate it.

Thanks for all the support thats been coming in!

Peace!

Sorry about the confusion. Im still going to do the mommy C.O.W. concept. The frog is just a sketch I made based on Newke’s idea.

Great !! :buttrock:

I’m very proud that you make this holy frog for me !!
And the idea of a tongue with a knife and a fork is brilliant !

But, keep the pregnant woman (or man ;)), The mechanically enhanced frog has been chosen by another contestant here :

I really liked the first concept, that frog however… is absolutely classic !!!

you have a beautiful fine mark!.. excellent job!

Bombproof - Could you put a little word for me on your frog sketch, as “For Newke” for example, and put your signature?

Please. :bounce:

very cool style, love how the hatching follows the contours of your figures. very plastic, and a lot like the hatching technique the old masters used to use.

I think you have one of the best concepts up here…you can tell from the replies you’ve been getting that it’s exciting, and invites people to make up stories of their own…based on the grounds that you set.

keep it up, can’t wait to see how this turns out.

please bear with me because i tend to do a lot of studies when i’m working on a subject.

I have to agree. I’m a fan of your crosshatchwork. very successfully executed. As far as the concept… I’m not sure if I’m on the same page with you. I just think its me though, all taboo about it or something. I guess I’m really looking what you’re gonna do as a final and can’t wait to see the whole thing finished. Ohh and I want to have a drink with your frog!

thanks for liking my hatchwork but, whats in your mind c.b.?

the final artwork wont be hatched. it will be painted. it’s just that hatching the details in the image makes me more aware of what and where they are in scene. it’s always good that you understand whats going on inside the scene.

the problem is i get hooked on hatching that by the time i start painting it i start missing my pens.

…Iguess I’m personally not feeling it when I look inside the woomb of a carying mother. I like your idea about her being pregnant, and nursing or carying embryos or eggs inside but having her display the woumb like a diorama is personally wierd to me. PLease don’t take it personally I’m just thinking outloud here. Perhaps when its done in photoshop and there will be some sort of glass on the belly when one can see whats happening inside. I love the concept but all I guess I was trying to say is that she looks hurt (although her face expression doesn’t convey that) I guess that does not compute in my head. I’m soo looking forward to your final. I want to see how you paint it. I toast you!

its ok to think out loud CB. But during the initial posts i mentioned that there is the skin, then there is the retractable shielding and under them is a transluscent tissue. like a rubbery orb surrounding the baby. dont worry it wont be like a diorama.

i toast you back

wow…i’m, like many have already said, very impressed by the crosshatching. the environment looks awesome though. i really love the whole effect it has on the peice. you do such great work.

and just because i love this happy face guy:buttrock:

I think it’s been said but it would feel more provocative if it wasn’t a human mother carrying the child or maybe a human mother carrying an animal pup… anyway keep it up, nice work.
